  1. My dream license would be Blade Runner!

    We could have:

Deckard w/ his trench coat and cool gun

Roy Batty w/ a dove and a nail through his hand

Gaff w/ an origami unicorn and cane

    Rachel

    Pris w/the racoon makeup

Zhora in her exotic dancer outfit w/snake

Zhora in the clear plastic coat she got shot in.

    Dr. Tyrell

    Leon

Oh and a Voight-Kamph machine to find out who's a replicant!

Who else loved this movie!

I loved the Blade Runner film, and watch it whenver it shows up on cable TV. Edward James Olmos did have a William Adama Minimate done, so Gaff would not be a major problem. Harrison Ford as Deckard would be the second Star Wars actor to have a Minimate, as Samuel Jackson just got one as "The Octopus" from the recent "Spirit" film. How about William Sanderson as Sebastian, the fellow who made the living "toys". The Teddy Bear and the Toy soldier would make good Minimates as well.

  2. So here's where 'most' of my minmate collection lives...

    post-7-1149369612_thumb.jpg

Each case holds 108 mates.... and I only put the last one up a couple of weeks back...

*edit* all are now full and the 3" mates and Kubricks have a seperate home.. I need anothe case :|

Wow, what a collection!!! I started collecting about a year ago, and have about 112 Minimates, 1 Shooting Star race Car, and 1 Palz figure, all in Rubbermaid containers at the moment. Eventualy, I may build some sort of Diorama/Dollhouse setup to better display them, maybe even a small town setup, or a Space City/Space Station (I have a lot of Sci-Fi and superhero figures).

  3. I often find myself searching through old posts on the boards here, trying to find out if anyone had discovered whether a certain accessory, stand, or vehicle is compatible with Minimates or not. So, I thought it might make some sense to pool together all relevant links to threads and other web pages in one place, as a resource for those of us looking for vehicles, dioramas, accessories, stands, etc. that are compatible with Minimates.

Here are the links that I have found which have dealt with specific compatibility inquiries:

-other vehicle note: Minimates fit in Transformers Alternators rather well. I have tried Hound and Tracks, and the only real problem is with the front seat. The steering wheel gets in the way and has to be moved around a bit, and feet have to be taken off in Tracks. The scale is really good, however:

    edit:

And here is a cool patriotic motorcycle that I picked up tonight at the dollar store for my favorite mini-soldier, from some cheap-o brand called "Chopperz":

I'm sure that I am missing some relevant links (particularly since I've only searched through the "Crisis on Infinite Minimates" section for the threads linked here), so if someone knows of or finds other links, please post them here.

I live in Orlando, FL, where I recently found inexpensive plastic toy vehicles that are compatible in scale with Minimates:

(Please note: some of this information was already posted, but I have added some info I just got today)

Dollar General sells a $3.00 "bobcat" style "no-cab" bulldozer that seats 1 figure as well as some $1.50 boats

WalMart offers land vehicles, aircraft, and watercarft that can seat various sizes of figures, including Minimates, ranging in price from $1.68 to $2.99

Walgreens Pharmacies offer small plastic "cigarette-style" boats that can seat several Minimates; they usally cost $1.99 each, but this week, you can get 3 for the price of 2, $3.98. In late summer, the price has dropped to $1.49 to clear the inventory for the fall toys. They also have other types of watercraft at the same prices that would work as well.

Toys R Us has $2.99 plastic boaths that can seat several Minimates each, butthey appear to be more suitable for the older 3" scale than the current 2" scale

In all of these cases, the vehicles tend to be very simple, with a single-color top over a white body; you can try to customize them with decals and/or paint that works on plastic.

I was browsing a local Asian Dollar store, and found a $5.00 "Concept car" that has lights, sounds, and "morphs" into a larger vehicle. I got the last one in stock for $3.00, and it seats Minimates fairly easily.

  4. There's another topic of the same thing here: http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.ph...pic=4393&hl

Try searching before posting next time

    Dear Captain:

This will be my 3rd of 4 postings, since I joined last night. Thanks for the suggestion; although I cannot appreciate the wording/tone; I found the post from kharamazov80 helpful. I would still post what I did since I just found the vehicles a few days ago, and thought that others might appreciate the info, and if someone finds something tomorrow; they might be encouraged to share that info.

  5. Today I spotted some new Marvel 2-packs at our local Toys R Us, for $6.99 each, which include

Wolverine & The Blob (From the new movie)

Special Ops Wolverine & Deadpool (From the new movie)

Logan & Sabretooth (From the new movie)

Spiderman (2 separate heads, masked and unmasked, included) & Green Goblin

    Hulk & Dr. Doom

    Hulk & Abomination (Exclusive Package)

  6. Do you guys remember Die Hard Palz? I bought 4 of them when they came out. Ended up getting 2 of the same figures. The ratio of figures was nuts. It was almost like Kubricks case ratio. I remember Ho-ho-ho dead terrorist was 1:64.

Several months ago, I found a loose "Tony" figure with his gear at a Orlando-area shop, and grabbed it IMMEDIATELY!! I was lucky; I have not found another since.

  7. The closes I think we will get to a "Star Wars" Minimate is the Octopus Character from the Spirit movie Minimates, as Samuel Jackson played that character as well as Jedi master mace Windu. Maybe someone can try to make a custom of Mace using the Octopus haed, a Superhero, Sam or Frodo "Cape". etc.

Has anyone found Minimate-scale furniture, buildings, vehicles. etc.??? If so, please post a reply, and help us all out.
