Well here we have it, the day I learned of minimates I dreamed of U2 in minimate form. 9 years later...here they are! See if you can figure out where all the pieces came from. Sorry I have such a shitty camera. Any U2 fans out there?! Whaddya think?

So I customized the Judge "The Hammer" Wexler, just wanted to show you guys what I was talking about (I know it's really supposed to go in the custom section). But, in case he never makes it to production...Sorry my camera sucks

Thanks for the help! I ended up going with treasureseekersgifts.com which supposedly still has it in stock. I never heard of them so I guess this is taking a bit of a chance...here's to hoping my credit card doesn't get jacked! I managed to find the rest of Wave 3 today. If only I could find the missing parts of wave 2 and wave 1. I wasn't initially gonna get involved in the variants, but once I popped em open I was drawn in. At least the variants actually are seen in the movies and everything kind of pieces together nicely on a per-scene basis. Altho funny in the movie, world of psychic peter...i thought that was a bit of a stretch.

I am so late getting in on this, I've been away from Minimates for nearly a year--but now I'm back! trying not to get too crazy with it, but these Ghostbusters are awesome, really well done. I've been lookin too for an in scale Ecto-1 but haven't found anything too great. If there was an ecto-1 in 1/43 I would be happy enough tho.. This next question, I know belongs in the flea market, but since this is all ghostbuster stuff--does anyone have any idea on where to find Box set 1. Ebay has 1 set for over $40 after shipping...boo is it really THAT rare?? Anyways, thanks guys

man, none in White Plains NY, they have a crapload of the other terminator figs, looks like they hardly sold any at all, I hope that won't prevent the mates from arriving on account of the other lines not selling. Also not to mention, they have a TON of the wolvie wave....bad news there. Does everyone else's TRU still have a ton of the wolvie movie too?

U2? hahaa I suppose that could be goofy, it was originally a U2 shelf, then minimates kind of jumped up there and claimed their territory. Actually Union Jack is hanging out w the Mini Coopers.

I'm totally sick of wolverine 100%. If you wanted an army builder to have soldiers would be cool, I would think they will supply regular hands to lose the claws, but the face still has wolvie written on it. I agree that a chest piece of DD would make him look too bulky, he looks cool.

I think you're the first person to fav she-hulk or even put her in the running! I'm usually not much a fan of the gal minimates, but I do have to say they did a nice job on her

I didn't think they actually made nude mates, i figured that joke site was all customs...odd that they would even produce a mate w/o anything underneath.

I assume Original Hulk means the wave 1 hulk/very first hulk? I tend to wonder if I would have actually gotten into mates if it wasn't for that guy and the grey hulk. Speaking of getting far away from the original mates, I finally got the original green gobby. There is def something about the simplicity of the original ones that is very attractive. Even the hair feels softer than the newer ones, differnet plastic or something maybe? At the same time, the amount of details on the newer ones are really great work though, and in someway might make them seem more worth the money.

He's the one from the Avengers set. I wasn't a fan of the way his torso is so V like and his hair/face also has this flat triangle type thing, reminds me of guile from SF. It's interesting to see who likes what. The only conclusion I can draw from this about minimates is that the execution of a character really doesn't have a lot to do if you really like it or not, the most important thing is the connection you can make to it, which I guess is why a few people, including myself love the first hulk so much. Altho, it may be safe to say, not too many people have a connection to a figure like riot-spidey hahaha, you never know tho.

Hopefully this is the right place for this. This just popped into my mind as I was staring at my collection of 4 hulks + abomination. As a lot of people probably do, I try and avoid buying the same characters over and over again (unless its the punisher). At any rate, let's see what everyone thinks: 1. Overall best Hulk 2. Worst Hulk 3. Favorite Hulk (doesn't necessarily need to be the best hulk. Here's mine 1. Battle Damaged Hulk wave 22 2. Incredible Hulk 3. Grey Hulk---I bought my first marvel minimate sets in TRU just to get him, and maybe there's a place in my heart for the earliest minimates no matter how poorly executed...

Yea, this line has had so many changes in the past 2 months it seems. This would be a good reason for why I never preorder anything.

altho i only have battle damaged spirit and octopus, i thought the movie ones were cool! i thought the ladies were kind of lame, i was able to buy just the two. I thought the regular movie spirit was really well done and would love to find him, but i'm not about to buy that 4 pack just for him. The comic ones looked fun, but I gotta say, i think the movie ones looked better, i thought they wre more detailed.

boo! well hopefully the next 2 waves will show up at the comic shop next week, I gotta ask the guy if he's gettin them in. he can be kind of spotty w minimates. man I was checking TRU 2x a week for these!

Nothing yet in White Plains NY. I was told possibly Wednesday by a worker there. They didn't even have the price tags up yet so we'll see i guess.

I can't remember where, but I thought I read somewhere they are supposed to be out on the 18th...altho I've seen July for some of the others, I don't know if that is for TRU or wtv, I can't get this T2 wave straight.

ya know what I would like, I think a lot of ppl were bored by the punisher set, but I love it, and through looking for it kind of brought me back to minimates. I would like a bunch of guys for the punisher to kill, mafia lookin ppl, guys in suits with guns and stuff---he takes these guys down by the truck loads! I know this would never happen so maybe i can find my own, any suggestions?

Does anyone know if there is a list of all minimate releases or at least expected releases? I thought I had found one on this site before, but I can't seem to find it for some reason.

5 days till they come out in TRU! My local comic shop did not order these (in Scarsdale NY), he only orders superhero minimates...altho he carries the Star Trek ones, which I am grateful I am not interested in. This release is def confusing tho, I can't really figure out who is supposed to be where besides the few that TRU has on their site. Same thing happened with the wolvie wave--they only showed a few from the site, and then magically the whole wave eventually showed up 2 days before the movie came out. hopefully they do come out in time to attend the movie LOL.

Here's a stupid question to bring this topic back up. I'm just curious about all the guns that come with wolvie. Maybe im having a brain fart here, but I cannot seem to recall these guns--possibly from the early days? Even then, didn't wolverine just use his claws, i don't recall sabertooth using guns either----not that i don't welcome more accessories-----
