Did anyone see Superman: Brainiac Attacks? I saw it on Cartoon Network this past Sat and I'm soo glad I did, it saved me the trouble of wanting to buy it. It sucked big time! Different voices for Lex and Brainiac, didn't fit in with the rest of the S:TAS & JLU world, just plain horrible all around. DO NOT BUY this movie!! Catch it on Cartoon Network or rent it if you really feel the need to see it, otherwise skip it and you'll be better off

What I propose is that we make a small hand bill consisting of a logo, address, and small blurb of MMMV, MMC, and MMHQ, make it available to members to print out and have them ask their local comic shop owners if they'd be willing to give this little insert to anyone who buys minimates from their store.
A grassroots approach but isn't that what we are? What do you guys think?
good idea!
INTERNET PROMOTIONAL ITEMS
To go along with that, how bout banners (sort of like the civil war ones) of MMMV, MMC & MMHQ to promote it on other sites. MMC & MMHQ have links to a lot of minimate fan sites, why don't all those sites have links/banners to relink back?? Other internet promotional items (icons, banners, etc) would be good too! Wallpapers anyone?

I like to walk around Target and put them in carts with little kids when their parents aren't looking Once it's in the cart it's all over

I loathe advertisments, but think they serve a purpose by funding the costs of a website.
A banner ad or banner support link is easily tolerated, but pop-ups will make me want to kick a puppy.
took the words out of my mouth
I say yes!

Thanks Lurch. Reminds me that it's going to be an expensive trip to Best Buy next week. Two Seasons of DC Cartoons, a movie, and, I think, Lois & Clark: Season 3?
Yep, Lois & Clark: s3 are out too. Talk about product placement, there must be a movie coming out or something
