  1. I think he was just "quoting" what Adam said. We all know the same right now, which isn't much.
  2. That's actually pretty good Nestle. I'm really digging the reflection. Another great entry.
  3. When these things show up, are they only in the bigger city TRU's or will us small town bumpkins see them too?
  4. With the abundance of lines finally hitting shelves, be it reissue or otherwise, can anyone help me get some information on the specifics for these so I can pass them along to my local TRU and Target? For starter, are Speed Racer, Street Fighter, and the reissues and upcoming releases of Marvel limited to the larger stores in the chain, or are smaller stores getting this stuff too? What are the product numbers on these (not sure what its called, but whatever sets it apart in the computers at the stores)? I've been to TRU about Speed and SF but they said check back in a week. Target said try back in a month or so for the Marvel reissues. Neither store really had any idea what they were. I'm desperate to help keep the mass market introduction successful, plus I haven't gotten much from the Street Fighter and nothing from the Speed line yet, and I can always use the reissues for parts, and who can pass up the new figures in the coming weeks from Marvel. If anyone can help me in educating my local retailers, I'd appreciate it.
  5. I don't even watch the show, but I want these. Funny they can chrome a Cylon but not a Silver Surfer. Must have made some advances in their tech between then and now.
  6. Patience?! Patience?! You're kidding. How much more patience is needed before this is ridiculously overdue? I said that specifically for this type of response. According to what's been said above though, we should see some new stuff in the coming weeks.
  7. Patience, my friend. Though I agree that we need new characters, the fact that these things should be popping up in stores soon tells me that something's coming down the pipeline, hopefully waves 12 and 13. I can't really fault them for trying to spread the minimates in mass market. Its somewhat refreshing just to see anything popping up, even if its stuff we've known about for several months.
  8. That wheel that Grevious rides around in would make a good Marvel Minimate Big Wheel...
  9. And another piece of that puzzle falls into place.
  10. I'm shying away from George Lucas and his vision, be it the original or revised. They were ok movies, but I never really found myself compelled to join the masses of Star Wars fanatics. The prequel trilogy just jumbled up my opinion even more, since the 30 years between the first and second trilogy saw all sorts of technological advancements, it made the prequel look more like a sequel from a graphics standpoint. And his revist that upgraded the original was nice at times, but overall, just a way to make more money for less work. Anyone here pick up the Silent Hill DVD? I loved that movie and still do now that its on DVD. I just hope we can see an extended edition or a special edition with more special features down the line. I hate it when studios release discs with few or no extras on them.
  11. I've had a site for three years before, but I think I only updated it twice in that time. All kidding aside, when I first discovered minimates, your site was the first one I found with information on the little guys and has played a major part in feeding my addiction ever since. Keep up the good work, my friend.
  12. Careful there Timbo, he might sue you for that!
  13. Are those really considered variants though? I thought Variant implied different meaning than Exclusive. Good question though.
  14. All kidding aside, it isn't a bad idea to have a list of addys somewhere for whatever reason. I'm not opposed to having someone like Ady hold the list and shoot addresses around if need be. And I thought the toilet related objects went out as an honorable mention prize in the current contest. LOL
  15. Hey, Mariko has her uses. Her body works well for a Quicksilver minimate, and I modded her dress into a lab coat for one of my customs.
  16. Well, its normal for a person to harbor many beliefs. Still, a person will find themselves conflicted when a conflict between their multiple gods occurs. Suppose Donna denounces Minimates? What then?
  17. This has good idea written all over it. * Deadpool answers the knock on his door to discover a package on the front steps. Opening the package, the box falls from his hands in shock as he cries, "God, whose toilet backed up this time?!" And if there ARE gold and silver spideys in route to Nervous's house, I'm going to need that address too so I can intercept that transit.
  18. I forsee horrendous plastic creatures shambling around a foggy town in your future. And do you really need a knife to behead a minimate? Mine usually just pop off with a little pressure from my thumb.
  19. That seems to be just about the only thing moving these Speed Racer mates so far.
  20. Yeah, the figureheads of the minimate movement haven't had a whole lot of praise to lavish on these guys thus far. Neither Speed nor SF2 have shown up in Greenville yet, but if it comes time to scour the internet for these babies, I'll be reading the inevitable review on Minimates Central before I click Buy Now. On a side note, these things seem to be running around $20 or so on eBay right now. Rediculous!
  21. News is news, even if its vague and hardly answers our questions. We now know that we can expect Cylons in some capacity, be it part of the regular release or as an earlier "troop builder" release. Sure, we already knew this information, but hey, at least someone is talking about it in the Powers That Be.
