Twisted Two-Face

ell, i would love to see it turn out to be real. It really wouldn't make sense on how a fan got so many images to use for the "newspaper" but it does look too much like the last film. And if "The Dark Knight Returns" turns out to be the title, i can kiss a comic book-inspired movie of that comic goodbye... Either way it looks great, and i am on no particular side on whether it's real or not.

Well, i was cruising the web just now and came across this, which i truly hope is real: http://batman.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Batman3rumoredposter.jpg I sure looks like it could be, done very well in representing Nolan's style if it is a fan-poster. Although my only gripe is that, while looking like Nolan's dark and depressing "real" Gotham, it looks too much like the Joker-style posters such as the "?" like Joker's eyes, and the newspaper remade like in the Dark Knight. However, i love the "rumored villain's" fingers. I read them upside down, or attempted to, and then laughed. Johnny here we come!

True, but i hope they improve it. I know it's just the prototype design, but it looks like someone from DBZ let Anti-venom go super-saiyan for a second, and is the glow that comes from nowhere!!!

I gotta say that i agree with alot of you. I like McDurg's idea with Riddler (whom i find myself alot like. If you knew me personally you'd know...) and Black Mask, whom i have only heard of here. But hearing h e likes torture is good for me! I would actually like to see Clayface, but he just isn't real enough for Nolan to use. I could see the new trilogy taking a Spidey-turn for the worse incorporating a thing like Clayface into one of the films. But he'd be very fun to watch! I personally would want another Ivy film, since her last just didn't do her justice. oh sure...it used her femme fatale aspects but not her botany parts. And that is nice...except her whole thing is plants!!! She did what, one or two things for them? All i remember is her planting the seeds in the run-down bath house and complain to Bruce Wayne about caring more about space than Earth. I would love to see a gothic greenhouse keeper become a psycho who kills with deadly toxins and plants a whole lot more than another movie about Riddler. But i am asking too much from Nolan, since i know i'll never see this movie happen. And oddly, i would like to see a Riddler/Mad Hatter Team up most of all right now. One because it is a very real aspect, without mind-controling hats..., an two because we are running out of REAL villains! Kidding, but that would be an interesting team-up; but maybe that's one too many genius for one film. We also have to remember that Batman is a "criminal" now, since to the public he killed Dent. It may be hard to incorporate some of these villains with that plot in mind. I wonder how they'll do it. Oh, and has anyone else heard about the Dark Knight's re-release in theaters for the winter, for Heath's death anniversary?

Well, i was checking Art Asylum's website just now, and saw this: http://www.artasylum.com/blog/2008/09/insi...-not-like-that/ Now that just sounds cool! I love the pics, especially that big jaw! Is it just me, or should that have been used for Carnage, the inventor of the big "toothy" grin? Either way, this may just be the first Statue-Figure-Pack-Thing that i buy like that; it just looks great. No clue what the base is supposed to be, though. I see some rubble, but the wierd streams of something flying form the ground are making no sense yet. Anyone got opinions?

Before you do; I don't own any Apocaplypses...yet , but if you have or are planning to get the original non-var. pack, then i would only superglue one and leave one be, jsut to have one be "untouched" in a sense; if that makes sense... I sense that i say sense a little to much...

I think i just got back into Marvel...Holy Crap!!! Just kidding, although i did dip out for a bit before Secret Invasion. Just wasn't into it. DC had me with things like Trinity and Joker's Asylum, but this may just drag me back to the Marvel U! The series just sounds great, though i am a tad disappointed about it being monthly; but maybe the wait each month will make it more worthwhile every time? Who am i kiddin', of course it will! I really can't wait for part two, the Ultimates Black series. That one sounds really interesting, and if i like the original, i'll love that! And am i the only one freaked out about a Black Hulk?! I suspect Extra-large Bling in the future, guys...

I appreciate him alot, but he and my brother are extremely close because they both obsess over sports. to him, minimates and comics and stuff are "ugh...do i have to take you now? where's your mother?" Well, just wonderin'. My dad is a very cheap kinda guy so he would not allow me on multiple occasions to go to SDCC, and i missed alot of good minimates. However, he does have a heart and felt a little bad, so he says he will THINK about taking me to NYCC this Feb. What i want to know is if Art Asylum/Diamond Select will have a booth and/or if they will have a minimate's area sort of thing. Anyone?

Right now the ratio is 1:1, so I MIGHT be safe. Trust me, pal. I thought the same thing back when i bought my first pack: Torch and Mr. Fantastic from Target. I remember it well: "Mommy, mommy! Well, they were all i'd ever decided to get, until i bought another, and another, and now my desk is waging war with a pile of 2'' super-powered toys... Trust us; one is only the beginning!

Man, you said it! Throw in a Falcon, Red Skull, Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo, Mandarin, Kang, Vulture, Electro, Beetle, Lizard, Scorpion, Dormammu, the Ancient One, Baron Mordo, Wong, Odin, Balder, Sif, Hela, the Warriors Three, Heimdall, Diablo and Dragon Man and I'd be in Heaven! Not TOO much to ask for! Oh, no. I can tell you are a very simple person who ask for too much on his plate! :biggrin: But the set really looks awesome. And i am sure many will murder me in my sleep for this, but i actually am buying it for phoenix and Jewel. To me they really look amazing, like Marvel is adopting alot of DC's minimate standards now that they are out of the running. Hell, even the new hair sculpt's are incredibly detailed in ways on DC has shown us!

Well, unfortunately, i missed your comment k! I saw the Archangel pack and stared at it for two seconds, but grabbed the Hawkeye pack next to it. I must say, though, i really do thank you all for your suggestions; i am an opener, and enjoyed what i saw! I love the detail on Trans. Spidey, but by far Ms. Marvel is my new Marvel fav! Oh, and since i am done for now, i think anyone can really use this now for advice on purchases and stuff, if it is allowed. I'd hate to see it wasted after so few posts, so take advantage of it everyone!

Don't worry, i go tomorrow! Plus, now i can buy three buy saving lunch money from today and tomorrow. It was a big debate, but minimates won over food! Yeah, i think the top threefor now are Ultron/Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye/Vision, and Trans. Spidey(now jokes on the abbrev.!!!)/Venom. Since he only had like two Hawkeye packs left, i'll buy the archangel set as a stand-in. Off to Collector's Corner i go!

Uh, it isn't the Variant...It's the original, hence the reason i put DEATH in front of it. And i am not too worried about prices, because i only wanted to buy two in the first place. What i wanted to know is which two i should.

Well, let's get to thwe point. My local comic shop has a few 'mates left, since it gets shipments whenever. I have like 15-20 bucks spared... There are a few packs i want, but i want some advice on which two to get. These aren't all he has, just the ones i'm interested in: Venom/Transformation Spidey Ultron/Ms. Marvel Death Archangel/Apocalypse Hawkeye/Vision HavokPolaris Anybody got advice? Sorry if this is in the wrong place...

Well, Jenny, thanks but i probably won't use those Pinkies. (15 year old guy, it might look bad...) I do appreciate your help, though. I looked at some pics; I can't believe how big those "things" are!

Yeah, most of the babies were odd, and i hated the Daughter of Thor on the commercial. The only one that really stood out to me was Hawkeye's son. Plus, he is such an unusal character to add. We've had: Black Panther (Sort of) Thor Cap. Giant Man/Ant Man (Soon in a few forms) But only 1 Hawkeye! His son could make a great addition. Awe, who am i kiddin'? He just looks cool!

I thought Ultron looked the same. There was a difference?
