  1. Dude that is crazy my sister gave birth that same day! How awesome! Congrats man to you and the family
  2. It was an excellent film that had a great story and strong characters. The selling point, I think, is the actors in the film and seeing how they bicker and banter with eachother; because they did get some awesome actors in this film and they all did extremely well. The only thing I didn't like were the CGI heavy scenes because it looked a bit off. Especially the bridge scenes and the scene with the boat. It was sort of gimmicky. But it was a great film;easily tp 10 of the year worthy.4/5
  3. haPpy Christmas folks I hope all of you have safe sweet fun
  4. I watched "The Road" yesterday and it was great. One of the years best. I reccomend it but be warned, it is a very very sad film. As a fan of Cormac McCarthy's novel it is very true to the book and is definately one of the better adaptions out there. It is in limited release so I would seek it out.
  5. I saw it and loved it. I saw it in 2D and felt I shouldve splurged for 3D. It was a great movie but I think everyone is already familiar with the story. However I think Cameron used such a common story line so that he can go above and beyond in the sequel. This movie was more of an introduction to Pandora, and it's natives. And I'm willing to argue that Quartrich is one of the best villains of the decade.
  6. Yeah A&D was a good movie but I felt that Tom hanks didn't do the best job. Ewan did a suprisingly good job as the camarlengo. I thought the end seen was just a visual feast.
  7. Happy birthday. to the both of you people! I mean that in a nice way! (?)
  8. Here's a question: which director do you think only had one good movie in them? For it is Jared Hess who directed Napoleon Dynamite, nacho libre, and gentlemen broncos. I think that napoleon dynamite is his best film and that all the others can't match it. He's now over used his awkward humor and just made his characters stupid.
  9. I think you're right serge... The dude from queens of the stone age must be vocals and guitar... But yeah i saw JPJ in the lineup and i was like crap!; a dude from zepplin with a dude from nirvana and a dude from qotsa
  10. If you like Foo Fighters you should check out Them Crooked Vultures, which has Grohl as drummer, John Paul Jones on guitar, and the dude from Queens of the Stone Age on vocals. I also reccomend to anyone Wolfmother...great throwback to classic rock.
  11. I say Dark Horse regardless of the rules. Lobster Johnson could kick Batmans ass... uh-oh
  12. I have the power to be undecided. as for being good..or bad...damn
  13. Happy thanksgiving to all of you! You know in prison it's called shanksgiving. Happy shanksgiving to all the inmates!
  14. I completely agree groundhog. It's kind of like black history month, in my opinion; One day of the year we commemorate famous black people but the other 11 months they don't get treated the same. I didn't use that comparison to purposely anger people but look: Christmas week shows the best in people and gives a preview of what humanity SHOULD act like (mostly) and the OTHER days in a year, humanity is utter garbage, compared to Christmas, and Thanksgiving weeks! I'm sorry again if I angered anyone, cos sometimes I know I don't post the best things. And of course Christmas Story will be watched, and watched, and watched...
  15. Would a UFO-Freak like me be offended by it? I dont know...its your opinion; The ending was abso-friggin-lutely horrible. it was one of those which I think blow...So it's your call man. I also recommend not seeing 2012...I know some of you will disagree with me but it was one of those "guy running away from an event just as it's close behind him". There's tidal waves, there's earthquakes, there's volcanos, there's solar flares, and worst of all there's Danny Glover. Cuz the Mayans knew all about John Cusack and his bland as hell acting. Thats my opinion...no ofense
  16. Dont watch The Fourth Kind; save the money and just limit it's profit potential...horrible, horrible film with very ice thin plot that has more holes than a slice a Gouda. Not a documentary...uhhhh horrible, horrible...
  17. Damn! This discussion won't die! It's about time one of my topics/forums things actually stayed. Anyway I did hear Muse's "The Resistance" and had my mind boggled! I would say that as of right now they are my favorite modern band; there up there with The Killers, Coldplay, and Weezer. A lot of Queen influenced music on there
  18. And Blue...poor Uatu...never a good home buyer.
  19. happy birthday fool! take it slow breathe in and ride a dacshund.

  21. Trekker you rule...that's the best damn plan I've read in a while
  22. What are you dressing up as? I don't think I'm going to do anything as of right now.Do you usually do something, and if so what? Don't go into too much detail just share. I think I might hit up some haunted houses and then give out some candy to the little spookers in my Neighborhood with my Joker makeup on... the saddest part is as I'm typing this I'm wearing Joker makeup...I feel bad for myself...it twas to test it!
  23. Oh crap sorry Doc I forgot that Doc Jr. isn't your first spawn! My bad okay so Mr.Doc, Doc-ette, Doc Jr, Doc III:The Last Stand...lol
  24. Thats great to hear! Congratulations to You, Doc-ette, and now Doc jr!
  25. It seems Campbell is casting none other than Freddy/rorschach himself Jackie Earle Haley to play the villain Sinestro! I think it's great! Ryan reynolds and jackie earle Haley in a movie...sweet
