  1. Excellent custom fujis, again, I am loving your headpiece(I'm starting to sound like a broken record ). wanted to try that for my Angel, and Majestic, you nailed it
  2. I totally agree with you "T", now that there is a second set hooked up to it, I think I am going to get these They are much more detailed than previous town sets, and just plain cool looking. I hope they show them in SDCC, so we can get a good look at them up close.
  3. Hey gang, quick update, here is the next section of city block to be attached to the lego cafe... Can't wait to get both of these sets... http://shop.lego.com/Product/Default.aspx?p=10190
  4. Damn Tim, love the poster, but really love the mini, can't wait to get an up close look
  5. Hey Shane, I got the Spawn for $129, which I thought was pretty fair compared to most, like you said, which go for about $150 Deadpool, I love the Venom Punisher, and also the regular Venom....one of those might be my next purchase.
  6. Hey Shane, the Ultra man is another one I'd like to grab. This dude is so cool looking in person, the pictures(as cool as I tried to get him to look) do Spawn no justice at all. The way the costume moves is so smooth when posing him, and the cape is like pleather and can be shaped all different ways too. Well worth the money i Think, I will be getting more, just not as frequently as other toys/collectibles
  7. I love the idea of just one character on a card with the charity mates type logo, the customizer, character name, and the charity on there somewhere. similar to the little insert TBT did for the bombermates. maybe some sort of dark shadowy lurking fella, moon in the background, something like hyjinx has done with his avatar
  8. Question (in the voice of Dwight K. Schrute) does it have to be a known monster like Dracula, Mummy, etc... or can we just make up some creepy ass blood sucker?
  9. Just saw this, Congrats JL, I think its been a long time coming man, it's a no brainer to have you in there!
  10. Hey gang, I have been checking these out for about a year now, and almost picked up a few before, but wasn't sure do to the price. Having said that, I saw the Spawn last year at SDCC, and almost fainted. I put in a preorder for this dude months ago, and he finally showed up today. It quite possibly may be my favorite toy/collectible I own, aside from the Peter Parker/Spiderman minimate of course So anyone else here into these RAH's? and some comparison shots
  11. Holy shit dude, were you lookin in my back window, lol....i'm in the process of using almost those same exact pieces for my newest CC, a helmeted version, and a hooded version thanks to our pal fujis. looks great!
  12. I'll play too! I actually love the idea of the blood bank monsters idea...maybe mine could be a newer version of my pumpkin dude, the first one came out great, thanks TBT
  13. I don't usually get too involved in these kinds of threads, but I am curious if there was some sort of disclaimer about the condition of the mate, whether it was still bagged, and/or the yellowing? only asking because for the price the bombermates have gone for, it should have been crystal clear as to what Fujis was getting.
  14. Hello everybody, here is another in my metal statue line for my soon to be created "hero park" playset. It is a wolverine coated in bronze paint, and sprayed with an activator to tarnish the paint like natural bronze, but much faster. All i do is spray it, and have no control as to how the final look comes out. Its a lot of fun to randomly run in and check out the progress. The copper Captain america is still going crazy! and a little closer look thanks for looking
  15. hey dude, I just missed this, how dare I . It really is perfectly executed, don't think I could/would have done anything different with it...Now I don't have to  I can't wait to get my hands on the SDCC exclusive either! Love The Goon, esp the Jeff Cap...another great Fujis headpiece sculpt! ps. the hood is painted, just waiting to finish the decal. pretty pumped at how its looking
  16. Hey Boyd, you got my vote bro, I said it was the first Doc Ock I saw that I'd love to display, and just so cool looking over all. This was a lot of fun for me, and actually pretty good timing, I had that Mer-Man planned the day I saw that Ocean Master prototype, and I just want to send a huge thanks to anyone who voted for me, really shocked, and a bit speechless. Thanks again, Nerv
  17. Nice work bro, I really like the look your photography has been shaping into
  18. I think they have- two years ago, with the wizard world blanks, was that the same time the Elrond, FF four pack,, and the Cyclops, Phoenix were con exclusives?
  19. here's what I got, I think my mailman's dog delivered it, lol
  20. LOL The Poster Bobbler with the BIG afrohair? how could I forget... I couldn't stop cracking up either and I'm way to old to get the giggles like that That was more entertaining than what we there to see... That dude should have his own reality TV show :| And while we are on the subject of Bizarre peeps at SDCC... I have one word for you.... FOXHOLE :o T. FOXHOLE was hilarious, and yes I was almost embarassed at how much we were giggling How about the worst captain america costume in history? I almost did a custom of that dude
  21. Well, let's have a few pints....and see the movie.....i wonder which would be better, drinking before or after the movie (when I was in high school we used to sneak beer, or mad dog into the theatre ) yo T, remember that dude with the 'fro in front of us in the one room eating snacks/smelling his poster/bobbing his head around/etc.....i almost pissed myself laughing
  22. First for me was Mr T. which my buddy Eagle gave to me, knowing I liked to mess around with Lego dudes, lol. He worked at GameStop at the time, and was allowed to snag the leftovers they had. The first mate I bought was Colossus, from ebay, while I was looking if anyone was seling a custom lego colossus(right as I was starting to do customs of my own). So I got him, and couldn't put him down, then immediately went searching for any minimates I could find.....the rest is history, I am an addict
  23. Thanks for all the great comments guys! MOTU has such colorful and wacky characters, I already have a few that have been started, and just waiting on some official parts to come out to put the finishing touches on them. I almost didn't even make Mer-Man because I thought I wouldn't be able to get it right but a few lego, and G.I. Joe flippers really saved the day.
  24. Hi guys, I just posted this custom in the villain contest thread. It is Mer-Man from MOTU. I love doing these guys from MOTU, they are so colorful, and I think would translate awesome if they were officially made. I have to start making good guys I guess, before the villains start to wreak havok. I am gonna do a group shot with Him, Beastman, and Trapjaw. Waiting on the Spectre to do my Skeletor, I love the way his hood looks.
  25. Hello gang, Just finished this little dude last night. Tried my hardest not to be one of the very last to post(like always) my entry. Here is another villain from The Masters of the Universe. The second I saw the Ocean Master mini, I knew I was going to do this custom. Hope you like Mer-Man and the source figure
