these are literally called Transformers and they dont transform its like buying a pack of batteries that is empty and having that asterisk with the note Batteries not included. on it

I remember opening my first pack of Walking Dead Minimates....they just stood there and smelled like plastic.  Meh.

  2. My guess for Series 1:

    - Duke

    - Snake Eyes (Commando)

    - Destro

    - Zartan

    Series 2:

    - Roadblock

    - Scarlet

    - Cobra Commander (helmet)

    - Storm Shadow

    Series 3

    - Shipwreck

    - Gung Ho

    - Firefly

    - Baroness

Honestly, this is a series I would hope gets army dumps.  Cobra Soldiers, B.A.T.S, Joe infantry, Vipers, Crimson Guard, Arashikage ninjas....so much potential.

We need at least a VAMP and HISS too!

This is a line you go all out on, produce and solicit as much as possible to show consumers it is a well planned line, and not one off box sets.  Get that consumer confidence and buy-in early, right at the launch of the line.

  3. Wonderful news regarding 80’s GI Joe, while the colorful characters of the series will no doubt be represented, I really hope that DST knows that there is a large Joe collector base that loves the often overlooked ‘82 green fatigues characters that launched the line.

They would also make amazing army builders, especially if packaged in a box set with alternate gear and heads.

Capturing the armor details of 4 classic characters—Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream, and Shockwave—each 2-inch mini-figure features multiple points of articulation and is fully poseable.

Designed by Barry Bradfield, each set of 4 has been painted in a metallic color scheme to mimic the original 1980s toy release and comes packaged with weapons on a blister card.

    August 2021

    MSRP $30

  5. I finally got the NYCC 2020 Fire Rodan Vinimate.

Zach - are there any other recent/upcoming exclusives we need to be aware of at the moment?  If not, I think I'm all caught up on Vinimates.  Can you let us know if there are any more planned?  There hasn't been a retail preorder for quite some time.

  6. The new site looks nice, but the fact there are absolutely zero references to Minimates anywhere that I can see is not encouraging.  Even when searching for "Minimates", there are no results.

    Marvel Products:

    - Action Figures (only Select)

    - Busts

    - Legends in 3-Dimensions

    - Statues

Maybe the good news for MM collectors is that Diamond sold the brand to Funko or Super7.

I announce all Walgreens sets once they have been found, but usually not before, because I do not want people running around looking for them.

Zach, can you please re-announce wave 12 in 14-16 months so I can start looking for them?  Thanks!

  8. @DSTZach  are we getting more Maximum Venom mates at Walgreens?  All of the stores near me have reset with a Marvel section or end cap and have empty pegs with Maximum Venom skus.

Also, with Walgreens love for Nightmare Before Christmas and all things Halloween, have you guys pitched them exclusive Minimates recently?  It would be nice if you could do an annual NBX release to fill in some of the missing character slots.  Unique variants of the main characters are always welcome too.

Are there plans for more Gamerverse mates?   I would love an opportunity to army build AIM enemies from the Avengers game.  AIM Troops, Synthoids, Adaptoids, Drones, would all be fun army builders.

With the additional delays of the Marvel films, have there been any discussions to go backwards and fill in missing slots from previous movies?  This seems like the perfect opportunity if it ever were to happen.
