Thanks Fujis. Here are some more pics. These are now lego/mini hybrids. I call them lego mates.

Another idea I had was to just use lego hands in place of the minimates. I just had to clip a little bit off the ends of the lego hands. Now any lego weapon/accessory can be used.

My Chewy does not resemble the promo shot either. Still a cool fig though.

Love the Clayface as well!
Is Clayface getting flushed down the toilet?
ha, he could pass for a brown log now that you mention it.
-
Thought a couple more pics couldn't hurt.

My favorite version of Batman so far. He looks great with classic Robin.
Love the Clayface as well!

Is the scale of that car 1:24?
I've seen it.... it looks close. The Mach 5 and Speed Racer have such cartoon dimensions, that it's hard to compare it to the Maisto stuff in that scale. It might be a little larger scale.
It in fact may be closer to 1:24 than 1:18. I've noticed that the 1:18 scale looks slightly to big for Minimates.

These are actually my first mates and now I have a condition I call Minimate Mania!
Oh, you poor soul. Well, you've certainly found the right place to hang out. Welcome to the home of MiniMate addicts!
Haha, thanks for the welcome Cappy. I am glad I'm not alone in my addiction.
Is it just me or does Spidey look like he just passed alot of wind?
And enjoyed it throughly
I was trying to go for a running/fleeing pose, but I can see what your saying now, hehe.

I have been hitting ebay now trying to acquire the older series at not so friendly prices.

Thanks hypno. The camera is a Fujifilm S5 pro and the lens is a Nikon 60mm micro f/2.8.
As far as the lego heads, they snap on and off pretty easily.
