Oddly enough when the variant figures are just transparent versions of the non-variant I tend to ignore them. I've got the character, I don't really feel like hunting down and paying for another version of the character in the same design but made with transparent plastic.

Well for anyone who feels like you do, I'll gladly take the Translucent one off their hands

My favorite characters have been the translucent ones, and I really wish they would make more of them.

I'm really excited about the upcoming Dark Phoenix figure, but still more would be cool.

but, with the new wave of slighty more common Iceman figures around, I'd like to try and make as many of these types of figures as possible.

They do sell some decently cheap Blacklights at Spencer gifts......I may try one of those some day.

And I wanted to try and fit all the details on the Circuitry on Tron, but as there was being so much...I had to simplify it a bit since I really don't think I could have fit them all on the mate.

I need to see if I can find some Fine point paint pens, I would probably be able to put details like that one characters alot better.

The helmet is a Twilight Frodo hair piece, I trimmed off some of the side and the parts of the hair that was sticking out. Then cut the bottom of the back off and glued it up front, I was surprised to find out that the piece I cut off fit up front quite nicely without modification.

If I can find an easily accessible Blacklight, I'll definately take some pics of it.

Well, today is one of my 2 days off from work....so in a little while, I will be finishing my custom for the Sci-fi contest.

On the other days, I work at Treasures of the Earth as assistant manager, it is a store in my local mall that sells Gem stones, fossils and wood carvings. Probably one of the best places I have ever worked. The rest of my time is spent with my wife or working on my artwork, and even hanging out with you kind folks.

Not a hugely exciting life, but I enjoy it!

I'm sure as soon as I get some disposable cash and IF my TRU EVER gets these 4 packs, I'll probably pick some up! Even though I have the whole set of them, I wouldn't mind having more for Customs or what not

Yeah I know, but All im looking to get is Juggernaut and the Dark Phoenix Chase..........not gonna spend $37 + shipping for 2 mates.
