They only had the 2 hero sets (2 Calico Jacks and 1 Jonathan Barnet)

Sadly, I was on a budget when going......2 packs was my limit this paycheck.

If I can get back out there, I'll see if I can pick them up.

Just checked my 4th TRU in the general area and No Wave 15.

Although, this TRU had SF X Tekken on Clearance for $4.99 series 1 and 2 As well as a few Pirates sets for only $2.48!!

I ended up finding the Battle Beast Antalor set as well as the Black and White Mummy/Hunchback set.

If your in the San Jose area, this was the TRU on Winchester Blvd.

Also to note: I had a 15% off coupon which was applied to the Battle Beast pack and the clerk gave me a random 20% off coupon which was applied to the Universal Monsters pack. Was a good day for me, except for not finding wave 15.

Wish my Rhino came with Better Iron Man!

What I like best:

- Expanding on the base minimate. I like the fact that we have Animals, Multiple limbs and bulked up mates

- more licenses. Sure, some of them I'm not totally interested in but it is good to see that more licenses are being made for more people to enjoy.

- Bases. THANK YOU!!!

- The continuation of Marvel. SO many characters, so many waves and still more to come

What I dislike:

- No DC. Yeah yeah, I know......

- Comic shop and TRU only. I'd like to see the TRU wave become a Retail Exclusive wave and go to more stores. More places available gives more people a chance to buy them.

My favorite part is when I finish and I am proud of the result.

My least favorite thing is when the motivation just isn't there..........drives me Nuts!!!

Man.....so many shops that have SO many minimates to offer.....kinda makes me sad.

It's really the only reason I go to Toys R Us......so if they were indeed all on one end cap, my trips would be SO much shorter.

But, probably more disappointing too...I'd instantly be able to tell that they have not gotten in any new stock, per usual.

Well, the problem with Marvel is that they are split up into several categories these days. Iron Man movies, Avengers movie, Spiderman movies (still), and then Marvel in general. Each section seems to have a peg of Minimates and if a person doesn't know to keep looking, they could miss out on what they are looking for. The TRU I went to on Sunday had a large end cap of Minimates and thats where I found everything I ended up buying.

I wish they would put them all on one end cap, would be SO much easier to find them!!

The usual one I go to has All Marvel mates and SF X Tekken are near the section with the Marvel Legends figures.

Halo mates are near the Halo figures

All the other mates are located in the Misc. TV/Movie/Video games action figure Aisle usually near the Sports figures.

So, I'm not entirely sure where this TRU would place the Battle Beast mates.....I almost want to say near the TMNT toys since it is kinda the same theme. *shrug*

The TRU I went to was the first I've ever been to that had all their Minimates in one section. That's where I found the lone pack of Battle Beasts.

I haven't seen them anywhere else, so I don;t know where they may be hiding at.

Checked out my other local TRU, found the Battle Beast set I wanted, the other sets they had were 5 Daredevil/Kingpin, 1 Boom/Rictor and 1 Magma set .

I'd love to have a rotocast Galactus or Sentinel Minimate that towers over all others.

I know the statues didn't sell well, but the price had to be the main cause. I wanted both badly, but couldn't afford them when they were out. Now that I'm able to afford them, I can't find them anywhere. If they released them in plastic, even as unarticulated banks (DST does banks), not only could people like me finally be able to add them to our collections, I guarantee I would at least troop build the Sentinels.

Personally, for larger mates, I'd rather they just come out with a 4 or 5 inch blank. I'd love to have a Giant Man, Giganta, Chemo, and various other giant figures.

But a BAF for something like that isn't the way to go, WAY too many issues would come up.

My one TRU only has Amazing Spiderman, Wave 12 and Halo, with a few Munster's Coaches and a couple pirate ships.

The second one has even less but had gotten in the AvX set.

There is a third in the near by area.....just recently found out where it was, I'm gonna have to go check it out. I haven't seen Battle Beasts anywhere as well as wave 14 and 15.

I usually just check for walk-throughs or game video on Youtube.......

To be honest, I'm not impressed with this thing.

It does bother me that it is not backwards compatible (I really hate having so many systems taking up what little space I have)

If they decide that the system will not play used games, I am completely out. Being a freelance graphic designer doesn't always pay the bills so there is usually very few times where I have extra money to spend on games. Used games have been my saving grace for gaming!

It took a REAL long time for me to get used to and enjoy the PS3..........and from what I have heard about the PS4, it's gonna have a LONG wait to get any affection from me.

And a quick question and it is an important one for me, does the console have a square design or is it some odd shape my the PS3?

As stated, I myself wasn't expecting this to be all that great because it was on the CW but I gave it a chance and it has become one of my favorite shows right now!

Figures look like children's toys, so I don't see an issue there.

Unless you're the largest toy manufacturer in the world selling these:

Mattel might have an issue with "LittleMates." If not, great! Then there's nothing holding WB back from letting DST go balls-first into the mass market with DC Minimates!

Got these for my nephew a while back. He's not quite ready for Super Hero Legos or minimates but he absolutely loved these!

I'd like to get a couple of the Iron Man Armors but that's about it. Where are these being sold at?
