I wouldn't mind if minimates went more towards a TRU.com exclusive and not stores. My TRU was great with getting every assortment until they got so full of the common and nonexclusive versions that they haven't had anything new for minimates in 6 months. Calico Jack seemed to only sell to me and MAX wave 2 didn't sell to anyone else either, it appears. Both are still sitting on clearance. What TRU should do is place sets up for preorder a month or two weeks a head of time, sell out a set amount. Then allocate to stores and online. This way each set is guaranteed a certain amount of sales. I know if I could preorder I'd send all my business to their website instead of hoping my store stocks before going to the web.

Just saw these back up. Already got my taskmaster last week but got two sentinels as I love the design. If anyone wants my extra ryu let me know. Super excited and happy I didn't break down and order on ebay.

Thank you, I knew they looked like something but couldn't put my figure on it, my initial thought was DC Pocket heroes.

I was surprised to see figures at the Zenescope booth at Megacon and after chatting with a rep I'm almost sold on these. Not sure I like the idea of sexualized mini figures, or competition for the Femme Fatales, but these didn't look to bad. I liked the sculpt but the faces leave me wanting more. Piratre Santa is a must have and Wlaking Dead mates are beyond anytihng I could imagine. Must haves!

Maestro, Australian and X-Men and New Venom are amazing and the stuff of my dreams but I never thought I'd have a Stone Cold Steve Austin Minimate. SOOOOOOOO excited!

You're right, that head sculpt is beautiful. Also, IT'S NOT DC MINIMATES! I can't believe we're still having this conversation. :/ I know it's not DC minimates, but that's what I would love. If I was betting I'd say it was Trek. It's the obvious choice, unless they came to a deal with KISS or one of the other musicians again. Personally I'd love to see Rocky brought back just for the Rocky 3 wave. I really wanted 2" Mr T and Hulk Hogan.

I've been thinking it too but didn't want to jinx it. The time is ripe, and even though I'm not too crazy about most of the new 52, I'd love to get DC 'mates in just about any form. I have to agree, DST can get new designs out quicker than most companies, so I'm hoping they would resign with DC, since I'm sure WB wants as many of the new versions out there as possible. Honestly just the idea of a Animal Man & Swamp Thing 2 pack drives me wild.

Ugh it's been so hard waiting. sure we got teasers with the Amazing set and the WEalking Dead news but I need to see more. I really hope there is a surprise. The resurrected line is more than likely Trek but a part of me would love to see some New 52 DC minimates.

I am so excited and so sad. I can't wait to have these, but so much more money to spend. Hopefully these will be comic shop only as I hate to have more TRU mates to track down.
