The slightly more appropriate comparison is this, though the shirt, face, and shoe tampos are more or less the same:
Looks like a new face, shirt, and sleeves tampo (some of the shirt is printed on his pants). Looks like the hair and vest may be the same sculpt. This figure did also come with a skateboard (it was from the first 4-pack).

I suspect we'll get another BTTF 3 Marty before all is said and done, and it would also make some sense to revisit 1955 Doc, since both of those are pretty important looks that haven't been released in years. 3-D would be an excellent Needles-type, minor character addition to another box set.

Zach, make it so.I wonder if I would technically fall into this license (maybe?) I was a Sheriff's deputy in one episode of the TV series. Background, and totally uncredited, but still, a Sherriff's Department Nervous-Rex is now on my wishlist for this line!

I'm not the biggest X-Files fan, but always like seeing classic licenses revisited. If they do the classic designs as Minimates, I'll probably pick them up. Mysterious Cigarette Smoking Man would be good to have on display.

Love '85 Biff there, and the Marty expression, as well.

I also saw it on Youtube and love the idea. Too bad it's not available for the old school Wii, which I have.

Capwolf and Arthur Adams, FTW.

I initially saved all the empty boxes I obtained for some reason. One day, I noticed that they were taking over my closet, so I recycled them all. I had no problems with that and never looked back. But I've actually purged huge chunks of my toy collection entirely every now and again, and haven't had many regrets. I sold almost all of my 25th Anniversary GI Joes, Marvel Legends, DC Universe Classics, and Transformers Classics, as well as many Minimates, 1/6 scale figures, and even a few statues. But that's going to vary from person to person I reckon.

Atlanta usually looks really good. . .in the regular season. They've been the primary rival for the Saints for the last few years.
-
I'm going to give them a few more weeks before I form a real opinion. With a team full of mostly young guys, it's possible they will gel a bit better as they get some more experience.I am not getting my hopes up for the Saints this year. I haven't seen them play like a pro team yet this year.
Yeah, that seems like a standard tradeoff, though the Saints have had a solid offense across the board for the last few years. They did make some pretty drastic off-season changes with the intention of beefing up their defense (including getting rid of Jimmy Graham), though the jury is out of course.I'm afraid that the best thing about the Saints this year is probably that the rest of the division doesn't look much better, just like last year. Funny how you've got three good to great QBs in the division (plus the #1 pick this year) surrounded by teams with big holes, where around the league you've got a bunch of teams that look to be strong overall but lacking a decent quarterback.
-
Maybe, but the Saints mistakes were more self-inflicted than a function of anything the Cards were doing. Dropped balls, defenders missing assignments or getting screened out of plays, overly conservative play calling in crunch time, etc. They were also on the road against a good team.
-
Disappointing opening game for the Saints, but hopefully it's just a function of inexperience with so many young players, and they can turn it around soon. I'm not overly optimistic, though. Colston was really disappointing with so many drops and bobbles (one leading to an INT). He may be nearing the end.

I found these finally! Only one set of 4 out on the shelf. I don't even really want them that badly, but there's something to be said for the hunt. Plus, more discounted school supplies and toys! So, a lot of Christmas shopping is getting done early this year.

I think Perez' style is timeless, but that's just me. Alan Davis falls into that category too.
-
Agreed. He is significantly better than the current crop. But even at his peak his classic style would look out of place among the current crop of artists.

Affirmative. She is "A-list." But DST is probably too chicken to make her. . .

I may have already posted this, but I have no pre-orders for any Hot Toys or SSC products, and it's the first time in years that that is the case. In fact, I've got a couple things through HLJ and BBTS, and a couple of custom projects I already paid for and am waiting on, but not much.

So you're finally going after the Pee Wee's Playhouse license, I take it?
-
Ah, so it isn't enough for Marvel to make all the mutants they don't kill off into Inhumans, they have to also make them into heinous super villains. Hilarious.Roberto (Sunspot) has taken over AIM. Maker will be leading (probably) W.H.I.S.P.E.R. in "New Avengers".
-
Just wait awhile, until everyone else seems to be finding them easily. Then, chances are you will be able to find them as well.

Out with the old:
In with the new:
Sculpt and paintwork by MJ Choi. Soon I'll have an updated outfit from Rainman's tailor, an updated body (Bruce Banner), and it will be the ultimate Indy for me.

I've been really slowing down in my collecting across the board, and let the OT HT Stormtrooper wait in the queue until after some custom projects were paid for, and I freed up enough funds to go after him. And now I see they are sold out everywhere. Not something you commonly see with HT nowadays, particularly for a piece that I'm sure they anticipated would sell like Hot cakes. But, Luke is still available at retail, and I'm assuming Han will be as well, so I might just go those options anyway.

In some ways, I think it would be better not to have such relatively easy access to things as we do in the U.S. Then, it would be much easier not to get involved with the damn things to begin with. I've often found myself surprised at how much non-U.S. interest there has been in Minimates, considering the difficulties/costs involved in acquiring them.Helping 'Johnny Foreigner' is what makes the U.S. special to us rest o' the world 'unfortunates'.
Take a little time filling out those customs declarations & consider how fortunate you are to assist those less fortunate than yourselves .

True, but JR asked what was new about Marty specifically.
