But don't you think they would more likely to be a superman returns set rather than just an variant.

In all likelihood it would fallout like this:

Superman Returns: Superman/Lex Luthor, Lois Lane/Clark Kent (likeness based off Returns)

Superman: Superman/Lex Luthor (likeness based of the original movie)

Superman II: Superman/Zodd, Ursa/Non

Variant: Superman/Lex Luthor (with no hair!)

I finaly got my DD/GR. Oh man they are sweet I like both verison better than the originals. but with DD it could be because all parts stay in rather than falling out.

Speaking from personal experience. Kubricks are cool because they get such great and off the wall licenses. Meat Gear Solid, Neon Genesis, Star Wars are some of my favorites.

But Minimates have better articulation, are cheaper (lots cheaper), and are more accessible (at least in Tucson Arizona).

I dont know if this was mentioned yet, but it looks like the fleshy face section on cyborg superman is actually part of the hair. What do you guys think? If so, it actually is a pretty clever idea in my opinion.

of those who have found the GW/DD two pack, what part of the country are you in? did you get the x-men wave?

While there are shovel abounds I think they are pretty keen. ghost rider look SWEEEEET. The placing of characters though surprised me. Johnny Blaze in a jump suit, OH man that’s hot. Speed Racer is going to get such a beat down and then Mach 5 will have a new driver.

Also check your TRU. While I am sure they will not have the ten pack they have the new four packs that really cheap (as minimates go) and have a great selection of characters.

I am very excited, I have been in a real need for a new dare devil. As with all of the first wave of minimates their hand or feet are falling off. Which kind of sucks. I just hope i can find these guys. for i NEVER say the x-men wave.

This is a sweet set, the colors are awsome way better than the original. I already have one.

I also think it is a great idea! I am realy excited for I think that is one of the few thinks that the marvel line is lacking. Just think how cool it was in the Lord of the Ring.

Would be a good idea to have a mass market 4-Pack with Venom, Sandman, Symbiote Spider-Man (grab-line) & Green Goblin (or MJ or Gwen Stacy) in stores the same time the movie is released

That would be nice. And while I see the point that this may take a way from a comic book heavy line this would do really well to increase the popularity of the line. If Art Asylum gets the contract they are going to run with it, I mean they could get a worse line.

Besides it would cool to get a black Spiderman. True it would be cooler to get the comic book version I would settle for the movie versions and be pretty happy. Also new Mary Jane would not be so bad.

I got mine yesterday. Words don't do justice to tell how cool these guys are. I had assumed that there would be pictures. I am very sorry. But let me try and explain.

Modern

With the claw are awesome by far the best out of the bunch (I bought 2). They stand like a head taller than the other mates. Head and torso pieces are removable I think the hands are too, but so far I have not gotten them to even turn, let alone take off.

Cannon hand, are sweet but not as sweet as the claw

Classic

I only got the stealth one but from what I have seen they are cool too! They come with a sward and a gun, the sword attaches to the belt. This is nice because very few minimates come with accessories and these little guys come with 2! I will be back for more of the sliver.

Now I have to say I have never seen this show and know little about it (it is next on my netflicks) but if you love minimates, heck even if you just sort of like them, pick these bad boys up.

Are these how the assortments finally came out?

I think my LCS got a differnt assortment. For it seems like they only got one of the "downloaded" (silver) and equal numbers of the rest. With the classic they did not get any battle damaged (both gold and sliver).

If anyone has not gotten this wallpaper you NEED it. It is so cool really brightens up the computer. True story: I was really not looking forward to come in to work, you know case of the “moondays†but then I saw the computer and totally light up my day.

My name is Max and I always thought Carnage was keen. The pun is “Maximum Carnage†was a big story arc and that features Spiderman and Carnage and a butt load of other heroes and villains from the marvel world.
