I'll have to wait and see what my reaction to movie mates are especially on older films that by all intents have passed thier sell by date. (There is no way I would call Desprate Seeking Susan a classic!)

The upside of these movie mates that I can see is that it gives access to some sort of non hero mates for the Marvel and DC lines to rescue . All we need now is a gangster/mafia movie qnd we will have some bank robbers etc

I would be surprised if this is a Lovecraft cthulhu type of movie has as been mentioned. From the cthulhu horror I have read even though things like the old ones are giant monster huge its never been about lets go stomp the city stuff, more moving things around in the background in a way to be the gods again. Anyone seeing the cthulhu big monsters face to face etc are useally driven mad in the books and no one ever thinks its true when they try to tell about it.

Sorry I think this is just a to bang crash explosion type of trailer to be cthulhu style.

nice I would love a con mate seeing as being in the UK its practically impossble to get stuff like this without taking out a small bank loan

I have to agree I'm not looking forward to Cathrine Tate one bit I hated her in the bride episode and cant stand her comedy at all.

Have to say prob my fav episode upto now is Blink the one with the statues. Proper hide behind the sofa stuf what Who should be like from time to time.

I'm after just a head shot of a minimate that I originally had back on the original forums, I just dont have access to a digital camera or I would do it myself.

What I want is Kingpins head with the hairpiece of ultimate Jean Grey, you know the hairpice with the gold loop earrings. I dont mind the size as I can resize it. If anyone is confused about this request if you put the combo together you get a perfect Eastenders Pat Butcher head.

(You might have to be from UK or Europe to know who Pat Butcher is)

To be honest I have use the Pocket hours line as a lvl to guess at what the next DC mini's will be packed together as the PH line two packs work well together.

If I had to pick one boxset out of the blue that I would like to see mini'd it would have to be a classic Uncle Sam and Freedom Fighters pack

about time that the the marvel line got some good mates out as they where being left for dead by the DC stuff at the moment.

I have a feeling that the angel/archangel are going to be a much chased varient alot like black spidey and black spidey woman.

liking the defenders set a big chest Hulk is cool but i would have like big hands as well like on The Thing MM's

ohh and I get to see taskmasters sheild as well

Picked up 2 packs from my LCS today (Another World, Liverpool) £14.99.

My thought are a nice box set for ppl just getting into mates as it gives access to a comic style Spidey and Venom.

Spidey is nicely detailed but there does seem to be a colour diffrence on the blue bits between the body and legs.

Venom nice and chunky as he really should be I like the chest piece on this figure.

Symboite Spidey a bit of a none starter for me its an ok figure but nothing jumps out at me.

Hydroman always nice to get something new but again not a spectaculer figure nice clear hands and the water blast additions are cool but I think are just a reuse from one of the SF mates sets I would have prefered maybe a water torrent base thet maybe you took the legs out an plugged into their place.

Sandman to me the weakest figure of the set I just cant get to like this mate. I cant figure out why the hand blasts are clear there is no reason for this and as some one has mentioned are cola coloured when one the box they are solid and sand coloured, for me one of the weakest mates ever.

about the Lobo wrap. If you look at the designs sketches on the backgrounds it shows the chain around the arm so maybe the pics are a type of proto and there will be a chain wrap.

As for someone who has no C3 DC i'm glad of a Flash an Nightwing.

I'm loving this whole wave even another Batman. Top of the wave for me me Has got to be Lobo da main man, happy happy. Grodd and Clayface are brilliant as well just shows what can be done with the MM formula with a bit of thought. Again DC have come up trumps on a MM wave even though I'm a Marvel fan over DC in reading format DC are blowing the Marvel MM's out of the water with wave after wave.

happy for new stuff the beast an juggy stand out for me.

I just find the release timing a bit whacky.
