We could get series themed box sets to fill in the gaps.

romulan star empire box set
borg box set
etc, etc, etc....
the thing with all these star trek minimate's is it's so easy to buy multiple set and just swap heads around you really can make as many generic characters as your budget allows
I meant more along the lines like the mirror mirror stuff, but a Borg set with different arm attachments would be good Stick the borg Queen and Locutus in with 3 borg and I'd go for that.

I did a yell search and it came up with no comic shops in Oxford there is a Forbidden Planet in Cambridge.
The Yell search did come up with comic shops within 25 miles of Oxford the results can be found at this link Yell.com Results
You could always phone them up and see if your lucky

Ok saw the pics now yea they are nice but just a generic action figure to me. Don't have the uniqueness of minimates to stand out on a peg line. I would still love some of those figures shown in the lineup to be mated though.

I'm very very anti spam so I'm not up for that.
Spreading the word by figures is the way to go. In my own way I know of 1 non toy buyer that have bought mates just from seeing my collection. (ok I admit It took superman into the pub because me and the barman where talking the death of superman graphic novel.)
He then went and bought Supes and Steel/Cyborg Supes and was waiting for me to tell him if any more from the story line was released. He is what you would call a very casual buyer only interested in that storyline at this time but you never know the bug could bite hard at any moment.

Looking forward to this movie in a big way. It was Watchmen, V for Vendetta and Lobo's paramilitary xmas special that got me back into comics...never stopped reading 2000ad though

I'm going with pleats only because from the cleavage on the mate to bottom of the molding on the coat makes it look like some serious droopage and I dont want droopage when it comes to boobies.

that is one fine looking box set. I can't wait, it has been so long since we get an iron man and this year we get a boat load. I wonder why that is? it is like there is some huge event involving iron man.
I think IM makes a very brief cameo in Marvel's upcoming Forbush Man movie

I wouldn't say if I'm a Marvel fan or DC fan or which ever comes first, but I am a comic book hero fan. I have bought every Marvel minimate I could find and all the DCD mates released and have enjoyed them all. I really dont want the DC line to finish as I think the quality of the line as made the other mates licenses take notice and up their game.
I don't know what will make DCD keep making them but I just hope they realize they have a great product and not to let it go.

The only way they will keep making is if sales increase. Sucks but any other way can be easily ignored.

I see tha backing plaque for the latest wave of DC has The Flash/Grodd 2 pack listed as The Flash (Classic)/Gorrila Grodd. Now I would say having The Flash Figure myself that its Wally not Barry in figure form, so I wouldn't call Wally classic?

The image host where the randomizer and the GL on was hosted is playing up have uploaded the GL one to a separate host I'll just have to wait for the server to come back online for the randomizer.
