If every Street Fighter/Darkstalkers fan ordered a set, and they gave us Dan with a new figure (instead of a duplicate), there'd probably be more of Series 2 sold than Series 1.

The problem is, people don't care. They cry and moan, wondering why something they wanted never came out, while at the same time, angrily refuse to help other people get what they want. We, who want to see SF/DS 2 released will never get that, because the people who could've helped us out by keeping the sales on the first wave up, simply chose not to.

Personally, I think this line was a victim of circumstance. Think about it - this is a video game & anime license. About the same time that this line was coming out:

Tower Records went bankrupt.

Putting me out of a job, and causing me to miss out on the last 3 Chase figures (Marvel 12/13 & BSG 1).

I would have liked to see:

Talbain (- a werewolf)

We were teased with amazing looking Jon T.s and Felicias for the never released Wave 2...

Sasquatch (- a yeti/bigfoot (good for color variants) - again, needs to be 2.5")

Actually, Sasquatch was short and stout. If they did something like Penguin, that'd work, but if the 'Mate was bigger, that wouldn't look game-faithful.

We're not fond of huge sig images... there are several other sigs that we have that are driving me nuts....

I've screamed this until I was blue in the face about the Marvel Legends, it only makes figures harder to find for us, and only makes eBay scalpers rich, not Toy Biz or Hasbro...

Well, I've been getting all my 'Mates this year from Graham Cracker Comics in St. Charles. Guys are really cool, even if they don't get the variants for me :sad:

Call the GCC downtown, and have them call the SC store for a transfer. I got the last ones last week, but there were some more sitting there today when I got DC Wave 2.

Oh, and $8.99, same as Marvel. DC are $7.99... Man, no variants, and low price, go DCD!!!

Could've gotten them today, if I had had the money. I went in to get DC Wave 2, and he pulls these out as well. Crap. Next paycheck...

UPDATE, DEVASTATOR WATCH: Heard on another board that Moline, IL has the big guy, but I went to two of the closest Wal-Marts and found nothing. Going to go to one a little further later tonight. I was really looking forward to this (even if it is just a repaint - at least it's a repaint of one/six I don't have!)...Really bummed right now.

Where'd you get that Endor Shield Generator Bunker? It looks to be in a good scale with the 'Mates. It's not for the 3 & 3/4" figures, is it?

No Variant, No Variant, No Variant.

My LCBS won't get me the Variants, for some reason (so, I still don't have the Marvel 12 & 13 or BSG variants), and charge $15 for them. I probably won't ever see the X3 Variant. Or Ghost Rider. Or Avengers. Or Spider-Man 3. Or future BSG.

I like the DC line not having any Variants.

The rest of the lines need to follow suit. You want to make a variant, make it a regular figure, not a chase. Not everyone being able to get a variant, or having to pay more for one is bull.

I just wanted to express my thanks to everyone here who makes this a community.

Everyone's so kind to one another (for the most part), always willing to help out, knows how to give constructive criticism without criticising.

I belong to a handful of other message boards, and everyone is so vile & disgusting to everyone else. Don't you dare ask a question, because they'll treat you like an idiot who should know this by now. Don't express interest in anything because they'll tell you to kill yourself for liking it (just happened to me, swear to god). Don't share your customs or artwork you spent weeks and your heart & soul on, because they'll pick every, tiny, little imperfection out, and tell you there's something wrong with it, and no matter how much you're happy with it, it's bad, and pretty much always will be.

Those with a Colossus, is the hair lighter then what is on the box? Mine looks to match his skin then actually look black. Any one have this issue too?

His hair was silver/chrome when he was "metallized" in the movie.

Thanks, guys. They're just Minimate pistols with some Sharpie with pieces from Minimate rifles glued to the ends. I've had them for awhile, but never had anyone to use them. Until now...

I recently bought the NECA figure of him, and couldn't stand not having a Minimate of "Tobias Reaper." Not to mention how flipping easy it was, considering I had already made the silenced pistols (just had to add the silver).

Thank you. He's supposed to have a Fu Man Chu-style 'stache & goatee, but apart from the blue "chin dimple" I gave him, I wouldn't know how to show that without a separate piece!

Mini_Myte's not the only one to use a BSG hairpiece to fix another 'Mate...

Thanks to Apollo, Chris Redfield has a better hairpiece, closer to the video game. Plus, I tinkered with Photoshop a bit to add some flare to the otherwise drab picture.
