hey thanks for the comparison pic it really shows how far the mates have come as far as paint aps or tamps or whatever they are called

If anyone was able to take all these pics straight forward, I think you should win. I think it would take more money and time to do them straight up than to do them in a more free thinking or interpreted way.

anyone else have major issues with the joints. I had to hot water/freeze every character for atleast one joint. Luckily none broke.

I just got a set in the mail and while it is kinda hard to tell, the paint job is a little sloppy, I believe I have the correct feet.

You think they could figure out a way to make a 1" mate? Gir would have to be like... a torso and a crotch, with a slightly oversized head, and arms and legs half the length of normal mates, with no joints in them... hmm you could do this as a custom with a 3" mate head with 1" mate lower arms lower legs and a lot of hot glue and then we could exclaim "I made it myself!" sorry I know I am breaking the thread.

I noticed the same thing the other night when I was looking at it. Actally it looks like most of the mates on there have stayed pretty true to form. I know that this poster has been referenced a lot in the series 19 and 20 threads.

I've got to admit. I want to win. I have become obssesed with promo mates. But in the end this was the most fun my wife and I have had in a while. (that sounds bad doesn't it) Anyway this has been a blast good luck to everyone.
