I have to agree that is one cool custom. I fear the custom bug.

Okay I have stated a few times that I want certain mates namely ones that funny enough are now somewhat important in the MU. AKA Deadpool, Sinister, AoA Sunfire(whichishiscurrentlook), and Nate Grey. So on the topic of villian 2 packs AoA/Current Sunfire and Gambit - Mr. Sinister and Dark Beast - both huge players in what is going on now and soon in the X verse non villian Nate Grey and Deadpool - if you don't know why these two should be paired you need to read Cable and Deadpool Cable variant and Deadpool - seriously read Cable and Deadpool you will thank yourself afterward. I will tell you what if any of these 7 get made in the next two waves, hell get made period, I will crap myself.

Okay so I wasn't going to weigh in on this thread, but then I realised I had enough piss and vinegar,(read beer) in me that I felt my opinion needed expressed. I have loved the 2.5" mates as much as I have loved the 2" mates. I started collecting mates not because of the posablity of the figures in their small form but because of the uncanny likeness of the characters to the comic counterpart. I then became amazed that I could do such awesome poses with them. Then came the 2.5 mates same uncanniness, same articulation. I was still amazed by the combination of simplicity and spot-onness(isthataword). I have not agreed with all the 2.5 mates as far as scale but have felt that depending on the interpritation the character deserved it. I very recently started getting into the 3" mates. They are the same articulation. They are the originals. They are the reason this forum exists. Someone on here(youknowwhoyouare) said it before me, excuse my bastardization. You have to love the original 3" because that is what started this. What is a small difference in size as long as we get quality product and characters we love. People are obsessed with 400% kubricks and they only have 5 POA. Alright enough of the old man's drunken ramblings. LONG LIVE THE MINIMATE

My only disappointment with this fig is that when I got him I had well over 100 mates, then I open him and both legs snap off. Luckily I had an extra sandman and just used his pants. My feelings otherwise are variants are that so that if you want them, chase after them, if you don't, they aren't something you have to have. No one forces us to buy minimates.

Mine is pretty simple... I am a comic geek, therefore I collect.

I hate the hype around Wolverine. The character is not that bad. You gotta love midgets. But just this whole love of him cause he is always a jerk and doesn't get his comeupence. Any way atleast it is more life into comics.

A p.s. to my earlier post. I no longer face the face. Yep you read right I went through with my anti geekdom. The first 10 times it was literally hard to not pull the mask back off and fix it. Actually I did 3 times, only to move it anyway. Yeah I am a real rebel(geek).

The one time I don't spell check myself... anyway I was on a road trip and I went to a CS that I used to frequent and low and behold I found the ba"t"copter, chemical warehouse, and batglider. Sad thing is they have had these for over 2 years.

Personally the ones I really wanted were the Darkstalkers ones. I didn't mind the Chun Li and I would have loved to have an E Honda, but alas poor horatio they all sank like a big turd. I wonder if they ever let loose of those Protos for wave 2?

I think it is a pretty natural thing to do. Yes I do it. I think I might purposely not do it from here on out just to defy myself.

I basically did the same pose with less balancing skill mine is down on one knee.

I was hoping more for like a little smiley on top of clouds throwing fireballs. I have never seen the first two you pulled.

I can't speak from experience of this specific store but I can speak from experience and that is if you find 99% reviews that are positive and 1% that are negative you are most likely dealing with a good company. I am not knocking the legitamicy of moc's claim I am just saying that the people who have been burned by someplace tend to be louder than those that have had a pleasant transaction. So if you aren't reading a bunch of damning stories, it is probably okay. Does that make sense?

I did the same pretty much the only way to get it is ponying up the 25 that it usually goes for "buy it now" although there is a 4 piece lot if you don't mind them loose.
