So I know that there is the clear iceman and the frosted variant iceman. Now I need the variant and when I search on ebay, the target exclusive pack with wolverine comes up, now is that iceman another variant (like a actual target exclusive) or is it the normal clear iceman, because that's what its labeled, but it looks different to me than the wave 11 clear iceman, like almost clearer and maybe a tint of blue added to it. Am i going crazy? or am I right?

I just came back from getting these mates. I, first, went to my LCS and they did not get them, so I drove to newbury comics and they had not put them out yet. So i asked the guy and he went back for like 10 mins and finally got them. But he only had 3 sets, he said that was all they had. So unfortunately, I need to go on a hunt to find the red tornado/ma hunkel pack. But other than that, i love these mates. My fav pack is shazaam and mary.

Booster Gold 10/10 - He's my favorite mate from this series. I love Booster Gold and they really capture him perfectly in this mold.

Blue Beetle 9.5/10 - He's basically perfect, I think sometimes his goggles are a little weird but I look pass that.

Battle Damaged Superman- 8.5/10 - He's cool, I like him, not my fav though

Brainiac 13 10/10 - He's amazing, I think Brainiac is such a great villian and I'm so excited to see him in minimate form.

Powergirl 9/10 - I love her

Dr Fate- 9/10 - I was a little worried they wouldn't be able to do dr.fate justice, but I was wrong, he's great!

Penguin 7/10 - He's my least favorite from this set, I never really enjoyed the penguin anyway

Robin 7.5/10 - I would give him an 8, but i am holding a grudge against him because why did he come with a batarang and batgirl and batman didn't????

When I first started collecting minimates, I only wanted the DC mates because i'm mainly a DC fan. Then I was like well I love spidey and F4 so I'll collect those too, soon enough, I have almost every marvel mate and every DC mate made. But this particular set, I didn't want because (and yes you have permission to laugh at me) I thought giant size x men mates literally meant giant minimates, like the size of galactus and the sentinel. But then I found out it's based off of the comic series, (I read a ton of comics, but never got into x men), I was really upset that I did not have these . So anyway back to the point, I have a chance of getting this set for $25 plus $6.50 shipping when I first started collecting mates back in april/may, but I passed. Now that I realize they are normal mates I want them and I can't find this set anywhere! Is this a rare set or am I just not looking hard enough?

I love these mates, I just got them in the mail, they are amazing. Here's how I would rate them:

Captain America: 9.5/10: I love him, he's my favorite. I love the brand new head they gave him

Spider Man 8.5/10: I really like spiderman, he's sort of simple, but I like that.

Hulk 8/10: I really like the hulk, i really don't see any big complaints about him

Power Man 7.7/10: I just don't care too much for power man, so partially this is a biased opinion, but he's cool

Wolverine 2/10: I hate him, I don't mind that he's in the set, but he is just done so poorly, I think he looks ridiculous.

I just got my new set from stuckakid.com in the mail, including the variant thor. I love them so much, they are amazing. Except the bar that she-hulk had doesn't even fit in her hands, it's too big! But, oh well, I still love them!

There are so many oppurtunities with the star wars universe. We could have endless waves of star war minimates and it would be amazing! They should have done them by now. I would have thought they would have been one of the first things to become minimates.

I can't wait, I love the DC mates. I'm pretty pumped about getting a red tornado mate!

So according to DST, Wave 16 is coming out on the 22nd. Is that right? I really hope so, I cannot wait for this wave. It's gonna feel so good to have an actual marvel wave finally come out!

I love these mates, it's not my fav. line but I still love them. As a DC fan, even though i do love marvel, it prides me to see all these characters I love come out in mate form. That being said, I absolutely love that they made a Batwoman minimates. I love her. The question is cool. I'm always up for more Green Lanterns and Sinestro is awesome. The red son mates are cool too but I would of prefered brand new characters like...oh i don't know...THE ATOM!!!!!!
