Not exactly exact. Similar yes but the big techno armor chest plate w hip/crotch guards and “thigh rings” are completely different and the overall “techno” design of the gauntlets and boots is different. Plus no Jake Gyllenhaalness.

thought this would be a sure bet with the black/red suit, stealth suit, mysterio and elementals. Lots to choose from for different products (Select, PVC statues, etc) a lot more than Homecoming. 

I could see that Homecoming didn’t sell well, there wasn’t much there and it ended up being a civilian heavy lineup w duds like that SDCC exclusive two-pack.

I don’t think this was the movie to skip and I sure hope DST wows at Toy Fair cause this is a big disappointment.

Yes but there’s a balance between KH characters and Disney characters that can be done, which DST isn’t doing. 

It’s a kingdom hearts line it’s supposed to represent the games and have characters important to the games, not Wreck it Ralph. Pick other Disney characters which are actually playable in the games and have more importance. Don’t waste all that sculpting budget. 

“Captain” Jack Sparrow at least is a playable character but he’s already been released and was part of a giant bomb of a line and then pair him w a super dull Donald variant. ? Are we going to get a Jack skellington next? Seriously we better not. 

The KH characters are all humans and can be made easily on the base body w the only new part being hair and maybe a keyblade. Not a lot of budget needed.

Actually if you pick up the KH mystery minis from Funko you’ll end up with pretty much a full cast w a good mix of villains and variants.

The tombstone looks great and the lineup is very good. Nice mix of new w updates of old/hard to find.

its quite clear whoever is coming up w the lineups has no idea about the games and has never played them.

A Toy Story Sora which in minimate form just means square shoes and wrist bands. Why???  It should be a normal KH3 Sora as Smashmaster said above.

Pirate Donald is dull and Jack didn’t sell before. This should be replaced w actual KH characters.

Mickey just like the Muppets doesn’t work in minimate form. He needs a larger fully sculpted head and short arms/legs. Mickey isnt tall and lanky.

Malificent is awesome, Ralph at least is new but there’s way more important Disney characters in the game. Hades/Hercules is what I was hoping for but Chuck probably chose Ralph cause he just had a new movie. 

Found them today in PA. Along w ton of Inifinity War wave 2. 

The non-marvel wave is the nxt Kingdom Hearts wave. Boxset is probably the 2nd Sonic set.

Ecstatic that these are continuing and will have Disney characters! 

Not ecstatic that we can’t get any KH characters that aren’t Sora. We’re going to get all 5 waves and no one but Sora right?

Still don’t understand how LEGO prevents DC minimates but not Marvel.

And how DST was able to get Gotham because no one wanted it (?) but they can’t/won’t get Young Justice/Titans and other streaming DC shows. Shows that are costumed heroes/villains and Gotham was nothing but civilians when DST produced product. Young Justice itself has a huge chunk of the DC universe in it.  

Well it’s time again to necro this thread and dream about the possibilities of DC minimates. All over the internets this morning is news that Spinmaster has the “DC boys action” license starting in 2020. Only that part of the DC license not the master license.

There’s also talk the Batman v Aliens line from NECA will now be released with Mattel no longer involved.

Is this the break we’ve been waiting for? Licenses now a days get split up into so many sub-licenses could it actually be possible???? Pleaseeeeee ?

Woof that Carol is rough thankfully the 2-packs will have a different one.

The others 3 definitely make the pack worth buying.

Not really thrilled at the prospects of a Spiderverse boxset. What would we get? Another spiderman, miles, gwen and one new character like Prowler or Spider-ham. 

All the villains are extra large w extreme designs. I doubt they translate easily to minimate form.

Do I want a Prowler and Spider-ham minimate? Hell yea! But I don’t want to spend $25 for just one.

Gotta be a Spidey wave. Chuck loves his Spidey and without TRU there’s no longer a constant stream of Spidey-related releases.

There’s plenty of never released and redos to make another wave or more.

They in the process of gutting the one near my work and I’m guessing then tearing down the building. It was the nicest one I had access to and was always stocked well.

Looks like a entire marvel endcap like the NBX one they have now. That should make things easy.

I don’t think Chuck really gets how BAF are supposed to work. You make the BAF figure good so people buy figures they wouldn’t normally to complete it.

DST’s BAF figures so far are a lame kitbash and a minor character which is the least interesting minimate in the wave. I know they can’t make follow marvel legends and make large characters into large minimates because of the license restrictions but make them more appealing.

Some of the promo pictures show different hands then what the figures come with and aquaman in the promo pics doesn’t have the hook. So we know there was more sculpted then what we are getting. 

It’s a matter of how we are gonna get screwed by either having to buy the figures twice or the other parts will never be released.
