Find your niche and fill it out first. 
If you’re a big X-Men fan and you’re itching to get that big X-Men display up, hunt them. If you come across some good stuff outside that then that’s great, but target the things you most want to see in your collection. 
And use the HELL out of Minimatedatabase.com

Spend a while browsing your favorite characters. Ivan’s photos are so good you’ll be able to find your favorite versions of your favorite characters and then you can just look for those. 
 

And for God’s sake if something comes around that’s new and you like it, buy it! I paid dearly for my Mephisto and Thanos because I didn’t take proper advantage of getting those sets at the time and I’m still hunting Kang and the goddamn Juggernaut. Don’t let yourself regret. Put in that preorder even if you don’t like every character in the set. The rest make for great spare parts.

Regrettably, I feel like if we didn’t get the Inhumans during the great “We don’t want to market X-Men let’s replace them with Inhumans” push we never will. 
 

Isn’t it wild that we live in a universe where the Inhumans failed so miserably we got an Eternals movie instead?

I’ll understand if they never happen but should they die like the Ghost Rider movie you owe us a new Juggernaut.

so in lieu of lost MCU movies I’ll take a beautiful helping of The War of the Realms. Hardest thing will be deciding who doesn’t make it in. But for sure we’d get a comic Malekith. 
Also King in Black please and include Gorr in that wave since he has connections with Knull. 

Wave 2. Never looked better. Sometimes comic accurate shading really makes a Minimate stand out as particularly beautiful. But the wave 2 Symbiote… mm… something about pure white on pure black is how I always wanted that suit to be. 

Honestly there are so many Minimates I prefer the updated versions

I usually use NeoClassic with my Avengers displays, but I want to get my hands on hologram Iron Man. I think the suit looks particularly good. 
 

But favorite is a weird one. I looooove Ultimate Iron Man. Love that design in general and it looks great in Minimate form.

special shout out to the MCU Doctor Strange from the movie wave which is the best of the MCU minimates for nailing the likeness and looking beautifully detailed. Homecoming Spider-Man too.

This topic sent me down another MMDB rabbit hole and reminded me that we still haven’t gotten a comic version of the Destroyer. 
 

I’m salty about this. 
 

Pack him in with a Hela or something and release him.

Makes me wonder if like… hot wheels or something has made vehicle versions of Transformers characters that we could pose with these guys.
