Well, I was completely off base (don't see how I won any Minimates from my picks, frankly), but am really happy with these. Nice to see the wacky army builders, Gambit, Psylocke, Sabretooth, Deadpool. Awesome. But if I am to nitpick, and I am--2 more Iron Men? I love Iron Man, but wow. He must surpass Spidey and Wolvie in terms of re-releases at this point. I really hope that Wolvie gets an updated, removable "classic" mask. . .

Now, how is Gambit a minority, exactly? Being a southerner?

He's Cajun. Told you one was a stretch... That was mainly to get people thinking it was someone else, but come on... he's in the new movie. How could we do a Wolverine-themed wave right before the movie and NOT include Gambit?

And apart from the pretty obvious Wolvie and Deadpool, I'm stumped. Was the "Classic Ms. Marvel" thing more than just some example for how to submit our answers? I don't see Captain Britain, Daredevil, Thor, or Black Panther fitting into any of these packs. . .Cable's not a minority (unless being from the future makes one a minority).

This is the part that gets me - do they mean currently has their own comic, or have had their own comic?

I was just thinking, that you could put up instead of an enormous and generous first price - including 5 2-packs, if I'm counting right! - more winners. Like first winner is allowed to choose two packs of those, second place is allowed to pick one of the remaining, third gets the one that's left behind. Just, you know, guessing and, well, um, hehe

On a seperate note, who am I to suggest anything and the contestmaster is always right...

people,i know ive been gone for a long time(no internet)and that i havnt posted new pics(no camera).so i just took a break.during that time ive gotten soooooooooooooo much better at customizing.i mean insanly better than my old work.1,i dont use chunky paint,i use soft thin paint that looks bold,2,once i get a working camera and full on internet,ill post my work.i look back on my old work and say''wow ,look at that peice of crap''.im glad ive taken a break to work,on my work.so far i have almost two customs.i have the most perfect scarecrow that I have ever made,and an almost finished mad hatter.the mad hatter is fully customized,so the minimate is about 2 inches,but his hat is a little more than half an inch,the body is a lot more than 1 inch.my new custom will be killer moth.im glad im posting again,when i get full on internet and a working camera i post my work.and trust me people,i am not an 11 year old customizing wizard,i am a 13 year old customizing machine.

p.s. my new thing is batman villains and hereos so yeah

So I saw on the news when Google launched Chrome that only something like 20% of people use Firefox. I find that very hard to believe. EVERYONE I know uses Firefox. take a look at any number of desktop shots, and they all have a Firefox logo on them. My school signed an exclusive contract to use IE, and I wormed my way into the system and downloaded Firefox for myself. i know several others have too at this point.

Now, i haven't used Chrome. i don't know anything about Chrome. I do use Gmail. I also like Thunderbird. It's been interesting watching Monzilla and Google toy with eachother.

In any case, what do you use?

I just downloaded Firefox onto my school myself, which is where I am, actually. I use Firefox the majority of the time. I think most people just never bother to install anything else.

I am unimpressed with Grimlock. I wanted morte of a G2 inspired Grimlock, not a S3 G1 Grimlock. That's all we needed was a 80 ton nurse maid for Daniel. What happened to "Me, Grimlock, Badass!"? Where's his bandanna and BMFG?

Actually I was thinking more along the lines of the Grimlock that deliberately walked right into a Decepticon trap to prove how tough he was. The buy who's Dinobots weren't afraid to fire on anybody, Decepticon or Autobot. Grimlock, who would kill any one or anything thing. That Grimlock. Not the nurse maid. Not the guy built by Spike. The one who, well, This one.

Eh, personality isn't usually determined by mold. I like G2 Grimlock because over the summer I found one at a rummage sale in good condition for $.50, so... He's an awesome toy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that would be the first real Watchmen custom that isn't just art, wouldn't it be? It looks AWESOME, in any case. Great work!

That's odd, I never saw anything about it. Cool though. He doesn't look it in any case, at least not IMO. I'm pretty amazed they managed to make anything that looks remotly like his original cartoon design, especially since it was just kinda made up on the spot.

The new Universe toys suck. The only thing coming that I'm excited about are Cyclonus, Hound and Inferno. The rest sucks. Acid Storm is great, but look at what he is. Octane is okay, but had serious design flaws.

No. Classics served a purpose. it was never meant to be a full line. After the debacle with Botcon and the fans begging, after Alternators and Classics were both canned, they brought it back in Universe 2. The line is just like Universe 1, but with new molds. The new molds, however, are nothing like Classics. They are too far removed, too shottily constructed, too poorly engineered to even be held in the same esteem.

Let's take ironhide, shall we? Did you know Ironhide was meant to be the in the movie line? But the line didn't last long enough to warrant new molds (what? 3 years isn't long enough?) and so they remolded his head and dumped him in universe as ironhide. Yet he's nothing like what he should be.

Universe just doesn't do it for me, so i'm skipping it. That's fine, if you like it, all the more power to you. I just can't stand the fanwonk of "bezt thing evah! hasbro, plz take my virginity! wat? you doez it wrong! NOOOOOOOO!"

Yes. Animated rocks. I love it. haven't seen The new deluxes, nor magnus. Kinda a blessing, wouldn't be able to do anything about it anyways.

ok, so the iron man movie mates are coming out uber soon and I am very excited to get a mark 3 armor...but in every picture i find, it looks like there is no leg articulation? anyone else worried about this?
