Well, if you were looking for my opinion on this, things like the IM pack are the best possible options, as they're REALLY cool, simple repaints, and not ESSENTIAL to a collection, as the Stealth Armor was never in the movie. I think that things like that, Blue Prof. X, and Blue Iceman work really well as store-exclusives. New characters, not so much. (not like you've done that)

I see DSTChuck reading this... So, is this going to be a continuing thing? Are minimates back in mass market for a while?

Wow wow wow wow wow, I'm gone from my computer for the Thanksgiving holidays, and I come back to brand new Minimates on store shelves! And I thought my Xmas shopping was all done.

So just to clarify, the Iron Man 2-pack gives us 2 all new figures, while the rest of the packs give us minor repaints or repacks of existing figures. I ask because I'm a loose collector, and since I don't bother about tracking down minor repaints, I'll just need to grab the Iron Man pack, yes?

Well, do remember that Wave 24 isn't out in LCS yet, so you can get it earlier without the variant in TRU. Abomination is a slight change in color, but yeah, that is the only "unique" two pack there.

For anyone that's looking, the newer waves of G1/Beast Wars are out in stores.

I know, but I haven't seen them ANYWHERE! Igot the first wave in the Universe line, but I need the rest!

If there is room on a begging list, throw me in for the Iron Man pack. Put others before me though.

Best Buy is going to have the 60G 360 on Black Friday for $299. It comes with LEGO Indiana Jones, Kung Fu panda, NBA2k8 and Tony Hawk's Proving Ground. For that price, I may have to take the plunge.

I saw on one of the Black Friday sites that Dell.com has a simular bundle priced at $250 with free shipping. Might be worth a look.

That is a GREAT question, and one I do not have the answer for. I've never heard of anyone else with the problem... It just stopped turning on. The red light came on, it just wouldn't do anything/

Hey Reideen, I just had an ideas. I don't know if you participate so you might not be able to do this, but if a member felt they didn't get enough info from their person for some reason or wanted to give the person who had been assigned them more ideas, would they be able to message you to forward that information along anonymously?

Does anyone reply to someone's dream wave of minimates that will never happen and tell them that its retarded and that they should stop ever talking about it? No, they don't, and I'd really expect better of someone whose been around so damn long, TBT. I didn't want to make a new thread, but I had to say something...

I looked at the old prototypes for this wave, and started comparing them to the final versions, and it REALLY made me realize just how much DST changed to appease the fans on these guys. Hulk's crotch, Abomination's colors, waist, Bruce Banner's face... It's REALLY impressive. I cannot wait for mine to arrive.

This being said, I want to give a HUGE thank you to DST for listening to their fans again! THANK YOU DST!

I haven't recieved my minimates yet, but moviewise, I actually preferred The Incredible Hulk. I have a soft spot for him and Abomination after Ultimate Destruction, the video game. It's really good, and if you've never played it I bet you can find a copy pretty cheap. I'm more psyched for the IM mates though, the MkIII is just too cool looking.

You know, I have to say that I think that horror minimates would work pretty exceptionally well. Freddy in particular seems like his design would make for an extrordinarily cool looking minimate. Jason would be pretty nice too. The thing with people like them is that they are essentially people in costumes so they work really well in toy form, IMO.

Also simply having the money to do an exclusive means nothing. I recently created a custom box set for the owner of Arcana Studios. He has been trying to get a hold of DST for TWO MONTHS just to get some numbers from them on a factory run. He has more than enough money to do this exclusive, and they won't even respond to his e-mails or phone calls, and he owns a reasonably large comics studio.

Now this is a post with information that is actually helpful without being sarcastic and snide. I don't think some of you are reading very carefully, or you're "retarded" as TBT says... I've never said, "I am doing this," or "I am contacting DST about this." I simply put it out there and I got some great input that has been helpful and some posts that haven't been very helpful.

No hard feelings to anyone on my part. Some of us just need to chill out.

How much cash, because I can not get you any minimates, but I do have a bridge for sale in long island...

What exclusives the Multiverse may or may not have in the works, is something that I cannot comment on at this time. DST likes to keep things quiet until they are a sure thing and I intend to respect and employ with that strategy.

Psh... my comic store never has Minimates or anything I want, really. Plus it's miles away.

The last time I was there, they had one Minimate box left. The Civil War one. I was gonna get it, but they overpriced it way too much. It was $60. I asked why it was that much, and the guy said, "I don't know, I don't make the prices."

I left, and... that's about it. Never went back, because it seems like they overprice too many things.

The last Daredevil we got was in a Target exclusive wave (I never bunny the Zombies) and was a simple repaint. If anyone deserves a remake it's Daredevil. Hell, they could throw in Lady Bullseye if they wanted to.

Just from me, as extraordinary of a number as $6000 is, I don't think it's unreachable. That's not to say I'd know how to get it, but... It seems to me with the right people, enough work, and maybe some kind of fundraiser (Charitymates-esque thing except for the MMMV?) that it may be doable. I mean...

6000/60 is $100 per member

6000/100 is $60 per member

6000/200 is $30 per member

I don't think we could get 200 people to donate, but I'm willing to bet that with some real work and pestering to members we could get something off the ground. Another idea that just sprung to mind is that of a "minimate garage sale" type thing, where we get people to contribute minimates or even other toys they could spare and then sell the whole lot, or parts or even the individuals for the highest offers with all the proceeds going towards this thing.

Again, I'm not saying let's do that right now, I just want to be productive instead of sitting here saying it'll never happen.
