I said this over at t'other place but I'll say it here too cos it needs to be said. If All-Star Superman came out monthly it would be the best American Comic Book currently being published. Morrison/Quietly... You can't get better than that. Millar/Hitch are close. Whedon/Cassaday are close. Ellis/Cassaday are close too. Lee/Miller are about as far away as it's possible to get.

Danny, did you save the email with your order number? Does it have their contact details? Ring them... If you ring them around 5-6pm our (civilised country) time you should catch them as they're opening or getting the store ready. Failing that... I'm sure there are plenty of U.S. based members here who would be more than happy to call them on your behalf. One after the other would likely get a result! Titan's in the same boat. They could ring on your behalf and then ring on his!

I think your comic pimp might appreciate you buying a few of the books he has stashed for you. You don't owe him a living, but he's ordered that stuff in on good faith. Explain your situation and buy 10 or 15 bucks worth. That way he gets to keep the business going and you have a few books to read. Blow the rest at the con.

I'm the 'no' voter! The question is 'would you like adverts on this site?' The voting options are yes or no. I voted no because in an ideal world I wouldn't want to see them here. I'm not a fan of adverts they irritate me. However, we don't live in an ideal world and I do realise that Ady's out of pocket for providing us with this forum. I'd like to be in a position to help him with that but that's not where I am right now. So it's a necessary evil but I don't have to like it. Having said that I'll support whatever decision Ady makes.I'm sure he won't be accepting ads for Viagra, or Penis extensions just yet! Just to clarify Fujis, I didn't take offense at what you said. Just wanted to explain my reason for voting no.

I get what you're saying Danny, and you know I'll be buying 12 & 13 regardless. But I do feel that if there is a wave 14 and beyond, we're just going to see more of the same. More Spiderman, More Wolverine and more repaints and part re-use. Don't get me wrong it (part re-use) has its place, and if it was one character per wave I'd not be bothered but to continually issue variants of Spider-Man and Wolverine is a bit of an insult to fans old and new.

I see it's starting to appear on ebay now. I got mine thanks to Shane. I liked the set as a whole even though it was yet more re-makes. And like Ady and Tim I wanted to support AA at retail.

I'm with Shane (and Bill Hicks) when it comes to ads. But I see it as a necessary evil.

Fantastic work!!!! Archangel is great. Like that you've given him an actual helmet rather than painting it. Mr. Sinister also stands out. That's a lot of work that's been put into that cape. My favourites are the JLU chicks though. That Wonder Woman is incredible and Huntress and Hawkgirl are standouts too. Well impressed Antacost!
