I really don't think anyone is saying, "Gimme gimme gimme!" or "Go get me one because I feel so close to you since I know your screen name and see your avatar every day and would obviously do the same for you." I would gladly pay or make a nice trade offer to anyone willing to put in the effort to grab one for me if they happened to be there anyway. Now that, I would do and actually have. DCUC Wave 10 ring any bells?

Probably the most disappointing figure in that wave. Mainly due to the lack of belt. I mean, really?! That's where his powers come from!

Yeah, my TRU restocked Wave 6 yesterday. All the peg caps were changed to $7.99 and the old price tags were covered with new ones.

If i recall correctly, the latest was earlier this year. Just read the Secret Origin trade a few weeks ago (reading them in order), and even though it's supposed to take place some many years ago, i'm shocked Geoff got away with it. It was the way he used it that let him get away with it. He made it clear that it was a derogatory term used by one of the other pilots.

Not only that, I'm pretty sure the fact that the show isn't on anymore kills it right away.

I found the Vigo and Titanic Captain packs on Wednesday. Same story at two TRUs today, but the third TRU I checked had a full case on the peg. Sweet! Unfortunately, I had a choice between paint smudges on Courtroom Egon's face or messy paint apps on his shirt. I did consider, very briefly, buying both packs, swapping for the best parts and then returning one. Then, I decided I wasn't a jerk.

I was told by a girl working at a TRU near me that they'd have these in on tuesday. She seemed certain of it as they had gone over what was coming in on the truck earlier that day. She sounded credible until her insistence that the truck would also have Star Wars Minimates on it.

Two of the TRUs near me finally have some Marvel Minimate pegs up (which have been conspicuously absent since the resets). They both had the little green sticker with "2/22 pos" written on them so they should pop up any day now. They even had Secret Wars pegs back up with "2/17 0" on them so I may finally see some of those in my area.

Nothing in my immediate area, yet. I'll be checking a couple more stores tomorrow.

I found The Spectre tonight. Wasn't the glow-in-the-dark version supposed to be the chase or are they 50/50? The Meijer I found it at had three, all GITD.

I picked up Wave 11 at a comic con today. I'm not sure I want to keep both Steppenwolfs(wolves?) but Kilowog is amazing!

Found an Eclipso and the latest Batman retread at Meijer tonight. I haven't even seen Wave 11 yet.

I picked up an MP Skywarp about a week ago for $30 and I found Animated Arcee and Ratchet a couple days ago. Ratchet has a decent robot mode but his gimmick is stupid and the alt mode sucks. Aside from a small design flaw, Arcee is solid all the way around. It's been way too long since I've been excited about a TF purchase. Come on, Generations, I'm ready!

I found a Hawkgirl at a TRU today with an "Only at Toys R Us" sticker on the package. Didn't know she was included in those cases. It give me a small amount of hope for finishing off Wave 8 (Come on, Gentleman Ghost, I know you're out there somewhere).

Well, there is some kind of new Legion book coming out sometime this summer, I think. Could be a good opportunity for DC to put one out there.

Going a bit backwards in the discussion, I just got around to pulling out my "original" clear Slimer to compare it to the new one and was surprised to find a few more differences than just the food tampo. The first and most obvious difference being that the new one has a clear stand. Also, the new one seems to be slightly darker than the original and has a smaller face. Here's a side-by-side pic for comparison:

Love this new wave! They all look perfect! I didn't even need to be told where the new Venkman was from. As soon as I saw the picture, the old security guard's voice popped in my head exclaiming, "Hey! World of the Psychic!"

I went twice while it was here in Detroit. Once with friends and once as a gift to my mom. As I recall, admission was only $18 while it was here. Possibly because it debuted here. At any rate, I had a great time and would recommend it to most any Trek fan.

No, because Previews has nothing to do with TRU Exclusives. We'll just have to wait and see what Art Asylum tells us. Previews also has nothing to do with ToyFare (aside from the fact that they solicit it).
