I agree that she'd look perfect with a vest piece (maybe a black version of Origins Wolverine's or Movie Gwen Stacy's?) I'd also love to see a separate belt piece... but I'm still stoked to be getting her! As for who to pair her with... how about Forge? They had a pretty iconic relationship around that time and he wouldn't require much in the way of new parts.

Just returned from an early morning TRU run and hit the store just as they were stocking the Minimates! Picked up the Secret Wars set plus most of Wave 5 (passed on the Spidey/Scorpion pack). Very nice assortment. Silver Surfer is AWESOME and Black Bolt was a nice surprise (though I wish he came with a hairpiece). For those in areas that don't have a TRU, I picked up some extras and am going to post in the Trades/Wants section.... Happy Monday!

With the new live action movie coming out, interest in this excellent animated series is sure to spike. Now that Mattel isn't making anymore Avatar toys, maybe Art Asylum could do some Minimates from the cartoon? Here's my dream Wave 1: - Aang and Toph - Katara and Sokka - Season 1 Prince Zuko & Uncle Iroh - Fire Lord Ozai & Fire Nation soldier (army builder) - Variant - Avatar State Aang If it sells well enough, future waves could feature Azula, Earth King Bumi, Season 3 Prince Zuko, Suki, Mai, Ty Lee with a Kyoshi Warrior army builder. So many great characters.... and Appa. Has to be room in the license to do a scale appropriate Appa!

Well, a completely fruitless TRU run here in the east Bay Area. Anyone local have any tips? My closest TRU is unlikely to get anything new for weeks since their shelves are clogged up with Wolverine and Hulk Movie Minimates. UGH! If anyone needs some of those, let me know.

I've also had a tough time getting a response from Art Asylum's Customer Service. My problem seems pretty unusual. I purchased the SECRET INVASION set which rocks but didn't realize that my Phoenix figure had the wrong head! She had the same exact head as Jewel. Has anyone else heard of this happening? Any help would be appreciated.
