After going for 14 months with no new Animated Minimates in the area, I finally found waves 9 and 10 (along with the Venomized sets) last month. And then this week I found a full set of wave 11! Yay for new Minimates!!

After watching the Supior Spiderman arc on the cartoon, I am super happy to get Ock and Peter Parker. Anya is nice too. I am sad that I missed the Black Panther's Quest series as that seemed like it would be interesting, but I love Shuri and the Minimate is great!

What an amazing looking set, Luke! I can’t wait!

I would definitely buy the TMNT sets. I would also love the Agents of Shield pack.

Zach had them the last day of C2E2. He was going to take some photos and he let me see them after the show. I can’t for the life of me remember the 8th character at Walgreens. I remember 11 of them, and being pleasantly surprised by them.

While I agree the colorful suits are eye catching, Minimates being in Walgreens are supposed to appeal to the general audience. If Rocket were the only character at Walgreens in the quantum suit, that wouldn’t make sense to the casual buyer. Having at least a couple quantum suit characters, which is the primary look from Endgame most people will recognize, seems like a given for the only mass retailer on board. 

Honestly, the only other alternative would have been to give us the quantum suit characters at Walgreens and put the colorful characters in the box set. But this would mean we would end up having to track down at least 2 Walgreens sets, which many of us struggle finding one. It would also mean that Walgreens would have multiple versions of the same characters in one wave.

Having seen these all in hand, not my hands mind you, I think the assortment for Walgreens looks great. The only gripe I voiced was that we don’t get a correct-sized gauntlet. The accessories are otherwise appropriate for the characters. I love Widow’s new hair piece. The War Machine armor is nice. I can’t wait to have these in my hands

Wave 8 is finally starting to hit in plenty around me. I went out searching last August for these. Still no sign of 9 or 10.

He does. I will probably pull the crotch peg out as far as I can to make home taller. I did that with the big Kree from Captain Marvel and he looks much better to my eye

It’s disappointing that we aren’t getting Goose or a gun with the Skrull. Otherwise I love the look of the box set. Carol looks better than I thought.

Okay, question for those who have these. Do all of your Star Force members have silver highlights? Or is it missing from some?

Bron Char is super silvery. Carol’s torso and left leg are, but her right leg and all of Korvath are just matt grey.

Ronan and Jude Law both appear to be shiny, but I haven’t taken them out of the package yet.

Strange for dst to skip Spidey at Walgreens.

I am just happy to see that some of the issues with rights have been worked out. I know Zach said at least one of the characters in this wave wasn’t initially available to them.
