patox
Has anyone made a custom Battlestar Galactica Colonial Marine? If not, then any idea on what it would take to make one? patox
Has anyone made a custom Battlestar Galactica Colonial Marine? If not, then any idea on what it would take to make one? There are some pics here: Battlestar Wiki: Colonial Marine Corps Would the Emil Blonsky body from Marvel Minimates Series 22 be a good match? Is there another body that might work better? Also is the armor from the Emil Blonsky used on any other minimate? And are there any helmets that might work with the goggles on top? Bob Harris
The Blonsky vest part is a good idea. With the right recoloring - using black for those shoulder belts and the uniforms darkbluegrey sort of color - they might look damn good. And for the helmet, I'd give those Platoon helmets a chance, recoloring those and trying to stick Blonsky's or sculted goggles onto them. HRGMann
Another idea, if you're not in a hurry to get these done, is to use the helmet that the SHIELD soldier will be sporting in the Marvel Ultimates wave... goggles included!

Captain Minimate
Nice QC's patox, paint the helmet black to get it even more accurate . I think Emil Blonsky's vest is going to be a re-use for the Hydra agents. It's just hard to tell because they put so much more colour into it.
