It was bigger and had a flat side... so I'm wondering if it was supposed to come off... See... So I'm wondering if anyone else's was on more securely, or if they all come off... Maybe with the unique mold on the bottom, the normal means of attaching hair had to be handled differently for the top. Or maybe they just wanted to make sure the head didn't turn around in the hair piece. Or maybe a minimate holding the hair with a normal peg made the head fall out.
