Webhead
I noticed today that my FCBD minimates are discoloring. The upper legs, feet, head and upper arms have turned a slight yellow. Anyone else notice this? I've never displayed mine and they've been kept packed up in the dark.
NightViper
I have five in baggies and one lose, and they all seem fine. Sometimes it's heat and not sunlight that starts yellowing the plastic. It happens all the time with MOC toys. Somebody stashes them away in a garage or attic and in the summer, the heat builds up in there. Eventually the blister on the card starts to yellow, crack and become brittle. The same thing can happen to the toys themselves. Another possibility is cigarette smoke, if you have a smoker in the house.
Webhead
nope, smoke free. It must have been the heat then. It did get hot in the storage room during the summer. WOuldn't be the sunlight though.
Rad
Short of a hermetically sealed climatically controlled room there's no way you're going to keep a plastic action figure in mint condition. Heat and sunlight are anathema, dust is also a killer. There's no easy solution.
Amazing.JL
I have a bunch of them bagged in 3 bags and they seem fine. Sometimes just the regular air does them in.
