That show always bugged me. Ooooh the Daleks are coming. Ok, just find some uneven ground or a hill and they'll never get to you. LOL. However, if they ever make one of the guy with the really long scarf from when I was a kid, I'd buy that. I think the actor's name was Tom Baker? The only Doctor Who I ever liked.
C'mon man, this from the man pays homage to the sloth-like Cylons who, despite computer-targeting, had incredibly poor aim?!?
I'd expect your "suspension-of-disbelief" and sense of humor to be better! Levitating trash-cans are spooky! Cylons had the cool "roving-eye", Daleks had the creepy-ass "squawk". I grew-up in the "Tom Baker Era" too and he will always be my favorite despite the less than stellar effects. I truly hope that we eventually get some offerings from the "classic" incarnations (even a few boxsets would be cool: regenerations, Dalek, Cybermen, etc.). However, I can't recommend the new series (especially Seasons 1 & 2) enough. It's an incredibly witty and very well done series (my second favorite show after BSG). Do yourself a favor and check it out if you're not familiar with the new stuff.
Note to self: Never mess with Dr. Who nerds. Never. Will still only buy Tom Baker though. They better make a TARDIS for him.

I pre-ordered from CSC. I've done a fair bit of business with them and am always satisfied.
I also wandered into my LCS today to pick up a Mysterio because I could not wait. He's going to be fighting Spidey on my desk tomorrow. He's just awesome. And the variant Angel pack was there so I grabbed it as well.

I'm probably the only one thinking this, but I think the Star Wars name has SO many other toys and figures and the like.....I'd much rather see other movie licenses that don't have as much exposure in the toy industry, like Indiana Jones.......I would much rather have those then Star Wars.
Are you kidding me? Darth Vader would be the ultimate addition to my minimate collection!

Brilliant! In this picture I'd be interested to see him reach the turkey, since someone considerately put it in the middle of the table.
Are you kidding me? He's holding a perfectly good turkey retrieval device. No problem at all.

For those saying they don't receive the espectrum, this may not be your problem but mine always ends up in the spam folder of my yahoo mail account. The result is I end up reading the cool news here first. Oh well.
Oh ya, and I'm looking forward to these mates. I'll have to see if I can de-customize my custom evil Spock now.

If they release the vipers they'll need to come with a pilot. Maybe it's Starbuck.

Welcome. it's good to have another Trekker onboard. My wishlist if they continue with TOS is:
Chapel/Rand (This is already confirmed, so I added it.) If they'e exclusive: Mugato and Klingon
Mirror Mirror Spock and MM Kirk
Klingon and Romulan (Dream On)
Variant: Differently Dressed Romulan
Wave 3 will have a Klingon.

I'll be buying at least 2 of each of these. This news has made my day!

There is an episode, I think it might be from season 3, where it is revealed that
the one that saved Baltar from the nuke in the miniseries downloaded into a new body and has an invisible Baltar that only she can see.
I thought that was really cool.

I got my order last week. Came well packed and undamaged all the way to Canada.

I've got about 40 including the classics.

bet shes fun to dance with
When I saw this I was reminded of a Married with Children where Al Bundy describes his perfect woman as having three hooters. One on the back ... for dancing. LOL
When DC Wave 8 comes out grab yourself an extra Saalak and make a custom 4-armed Kirk.

Yeah, and the First Date two-pack is scheduled for this week as well, right? But you all know how it goes...
They're not on this week's shipping list:

Case #2 arrived today. I think they're sold out again. This one is #296

Agreed but you have to give it time to get there. Trek has failed once. Trek fans need to realize they're damn lucky it came back again and need to support it this time if they want to see DS9/Enterprise/TNG/Voyager down the road.
That doesn't appear to be a problem if Wave 1 is an indicator. I pre-ordered a case and could not get all my mates because they were short-shipped. The shops in my city seem to have burned through them pretty quickly.

my entry for the zombie contest a simple QC of Magneto, master of entrails. the red bits from zombie daredevil and a street fighter head from who I'm not sure. I guess the catagory he fits in is concept as he wasnt a zombie in his appearance in Ultimate FF if I'm wrong someone please feel free to correct me.
The scoop on Magneto:
Magneto was uninfected, fought valiantly, but was ultimately defeated and eaten by the zombies in the first issue of Marvel Zombies.
Nice custom though.

DST's site now says.............. 12/12/07. (who has the salt?)
Not me. I only took one grain and passed the rest on.

2601???? :o
they only made 450 cases each of classic and modern. on the bottom on the case it is hand written x/450
my classic is 13 / 450 and modern is 122 / 450
it is also hand written on the outer box as well (the cardboard box)
Ok, looks like 370. Could be 270 though. It's hand written and hard to read. I interested to see what number the second one will be. I wish I'd gotten a case of the classics too. I've got one of each plus a couple of extras but wish I had more.

If I ever win a sizable lottery I'm going to offer Diamond a contract to guarantee the sales of a classic line. I want classic BSG and vehicles so bad!!!!
-
cylonchaney, what number is your case? the one i just ordered and received is # 122.
They're probably not sequential because mine was 2601 I think. I don't know for sure. It's packed away with my unopened collection. I've got about a dozen on display already and will open the second case when it comes.
-
Stuckakid has the case of 12 available for about $60. I just got one in the mail last week and have another on order but they weren't yet out of stock.
-
Yes! Maybe I can make a custom "Classic Apollo" to play with my classic Cylons.

Okay, how many of you geeked-out fanboys are so dysfunctional that you make sure, when affixing a full-head mask (ala Iron Man or Harley Quinn) you carefully ensure it lines up over the face underneath? That is, even though no one can see it, you need the face properly oriented under the mask.
I'll be the first to raise my hand. (It's a sad, terrible burden.)
I am wth you on this bro....its an odd little thing I do to...gotta be facing the same way as the mask is....even when I am playing sometimes I'll pull it off just to check and see lol!
Jeff of the Minis
You guys aren't actually trying to tell me there are people out there who would have a misaligned face under the mask are you? That's just so wrong it gives me the shivers! I think the better question would be who here does not do this?
BSG wave 4 and ST TOS wave 3 arriving soon.

As an added bonus, when I was there just minutes ago, BSG Wave 4 is on the Web Armor Spidey offer page. I ordered two sets and a defenders pack and my order confirms that I'm getting 3 Spideys as well. That more than offsets the expensive shipping.
