Does anyone know when the zobie 5pack should be out? Play.com has it as the 3/10/07- but I dont know how good they are with shipping minimates

Ah, and it looked like we were going to get Marvel mates more regularly now.. oh well...

this may be an error as if you check the new previews magazine it has listed that "Spider-Man 3 Minimates Preview Two-Pack" are being released to shops to buy an that there due in december.

finally after a long delay & an onslaught of minimates, website updated, with more to come.....

I don't understand that one month rule at all. 'mates used to come out here at the same time as they did in the States.

That ended with waves 12 and 13. They came out in October there, and January here. Which, quite frankly, sucked. So where did this one month unwritten rule come from and what's it all about?

the way they say it works is like this:

DC & previews exclusive come out at the same time all get shipped straight to diamond US that ship by air worldwide we get it a day to a week later

all the other diamond select minimates get shipped from china to the main US warehouse they then get split up and go to different suppliers one of those is diamond, thats why they come out on different day/weeks on the east coast/west coast and why some comic/toy stores get them on days that aren't comic release days

still with me ok.........

the UK stock gets sent form the main US warehouse to a UK supplier called "gear for games" by freight (on the ocean) so combine with the above takes around a month then "gear for games" send them out to toy and comic stores that order from them in the UK..... but if you've order it from diamond UK then "gear for games" supply them too.

So today some toy/comic stores over here have been sent wave 16 and are on the shelves ready to buy now, but as most comic shops order from diamond they get theres today but since they don't send out stock till tomorrow thats why my LCS (and all the others) won't get them till thursday

so if you look at when star trek and bsg 2 came out in the US by the dates on the board and then when UK places start getting them, once again looking at the dates on the board theres a 1 month gap, same with wave 16

avengers wave finally landed at my LCS, picked it up today during lunch. No zombies or DC yet though

My LCS called me this morning to say they'd be in on thursday with their comic shippment and only £5 a pack :o minmates have really come down in price over here in the UK either that or my LCS are just really cheap!!

if i'm right zombies should be out next week, as it'll have been a month since they came out in the US and thats the unwritten "1 month" UK shipping rule

I personally have had a very good experience with DST's customer service.

Firstly i sent off for the Star Trek Tapestry Picard figure. They mistakenly sent me a Stargate figure. I emailed them and they sent a replacement out right away and it arrived within 4 days or so . They also told me not to bother sending the wrong one back.

Recently i contacted them about my Rocky Hairpieces and they sent those ASAP too.

So, it sounds like a pretty good customer service team to me. Especially when you consider that i'm in the UK.

Rocky MM's just landed at my LCS today..Still no Marvel or DC though!

mine has rocky, bsg 2 & trek and their cheap, trek @ £5, bsg 2 @ £7 (which is £3 cheaper then wave 1!!)

so just got a call from my lcs and to quote from my fav aliens movie "stop your grinning and drop your lining"

Yes Wickerbean that's me. I got a catalogue from them at your advice and ordered the things you mentioned. Their prices are good, and I want so much more, but right now I can't afford them, but they can count on my business in the future, especially on varients and exclusives.

Did anything come in today? Do you know when they will get Avengers in and the Zombie 5-pack.

What is your LCB called and where's it based?

1)Namor: because he's 100% quick custom (and i've just stuck mr spocks head on him from the star trek wave 1 and he looks even better, pic being posted when i update the website

2)Nitro: 90% quick custom and the main reason for everything thats happened in the marvel universe for the past 16 months

3)My infected/zombies from 28 days later because they were so much fun to make and look cool

hey guys. im looking to get the John Stewart Mini but wanted to know how well does he fit in with the reg DC minis.

I know that he was designed to go with the C3 stuff But some of the mines marry up pretty well.

I think Cassie/Batgirl looks good as does Nightwing and the riddler with other dc mates but what about John and Hal and even Guy. If some wone could hook me up with some pics i'd be very thankfull.

1. both hawks have blank flesh colored torso pieces

2. mary marvel gives us our 1st set on flesh colored legs that I can remember

3. I havn't check other mary marvel's yet, but mine isnt wearing panties. Mine is going commando.

so marvel just released artwork for marvel zombies 2 and these look awesome i would love to see some of these in a second box set if they did one and you could quick custom some from the ones that are already out

my lcs finally got these bad boys in :biggrin: the GL mate are SA-weet! tho im not much of a red tornado fan the mate is pretty solid... not sure how much i like the marvels

im only slightly versed in the DC universe..... and i need yer help... hawkman gets the mace... and hawkgirl gets the flail and shield... is that right?

oh and im mcloven the wings

I only know the cartoon and she only use's the mace so that must mean he has flail and shield

but i've just checked wikipedia and in some pics he's holding a mace and shield and in the hawkgirl/hawkwomen entries she has a sword and shield!!!
