Well, I think that I'm with Rickyroma- goodbye Minimates. FUCK $9 for a 2-pack! AA's Minimate quality has been sucking lately and now they've jacked up the price another $2-3? I might pick up the TRU 4-packs at $10, but there is no way in hell I'm paying $4.50 + tax for a single Minimate!

I can't seem to catch the randomly appearing Minimate Giveaway threads on here, but I just found out today that I'm the winner of a Diamond Select Premier Collection She-Hulk (in her Fantastic Four uniform!) statue (#0 out of 3,000) from AFTimes.com!

All of a sudden this rainy Monday became a hell of a lot better! This will be my first statue, so I know nothing about them. Anybody got any additional info on these?

If you guys keep broken Minimates (or ones without moving legs), you're going to give AA the impression that what they're doing is OK. Take that garbage back to Target and keep exchanging them until you get a pack that is decent. I know that you want to support the line, but these QC issues have been around for the last couple of waves and are (obviously) only getting worse. Maybe if Target has to return hundreds of defective boxes of Nightcrawlers, then they could influence AA to get their shit together or find another mass market retailer to sell their junk. As much as it pains me to say it, I'd rather not buy anymore Minimates than collect these crappy, cheap imitations of Minimates...

Thanks for the feedback on XB360, guys. Here's another question: has Sony announced anything about the PS3 online network? Are they going to charge for it like XBLive? The only reason I put up with the lame PS2 experience is because it's free. If Sony's going to charge for online PS3 access, I'll probably go with XB360. I've heard nothing but praise for XBLive & how it blows Sony's online experience away...

I'm still waiting on the Invisible Woman to be released. I have Mr. Fantastic, Human Torch, Thing, and Dr. Doom.

It looks like a few of you have XBox 360s. Have you had any problems like the ones that I've read online? Overheating, burning, scratching the games, etc... I'm debating whether or not to pick one up. Or a PS3. Or a Wii. Or (since I'm cheap) continue on with my trusty PS2. About all I play anymore is Madden 06 & Battlefield 2: Modern Combat online.

p.s. Ermmm... I'm starting to suspect there some wierd fertility drug in minimates...

No, it's just that since none of us have any new Minimates to hunt down, play with, customize, etc. The only thing left to do is knock some boots with the better half. It has been about nine months since any new mates came out, huh? It's a Multiverse baby boom!

I'm a little partial to the heavy hitters (Thing, Hulk, Juggernaut, Colossus, etc) anyway. I'll probably just limit myself to them... and the Fantastic Four of course!

I found a Spider-Man/Thing 2-pack clearanced out to $7 today at my local Wal-Mart. The Thing is way cool, but the Spider-Man's arm popped off before I even got it out of the box!

I was thinking about picking up The Human Torch and Mr. Fantastic too, but I'm thinking all of the "regular"-sized characters might be a little too fragile due to their tiny joints. Anyone have any input?

I checked the Cincinnati-area TRU and found nothing. We're usually a week or two behind everyone else though...
