I thought that the latest movie was a huge step in the right direction but the style of this new show is so off putting to me. I know that this show is targeted at an extremely young audience but there are shows that kids and their parents can enjoy together i.e. Batman TAS, Justice League, Phineas and Ferb and the recently cancelled Avengers EMH. Wouldn't you think that they would get more mileage out of the show by aiming for middle ground instead of just aiming for the middle.

He's got a shirt tampo under his bulk. I prefer it since no one else has that kind of bulk in the set. I will say that out of the two sets I got, both Austin heads were a little bit bigger at the bottom were the heads were against the shirt. It wasn't too noticeable, but it did look a little off. Next set of pics I get I'll have Barney and Pain under their chest pieces.
Colonel Tigh in Wave 2 of the Battlestar Galactica Minimates had this problem too.

Don't know if it means anything but the article at Toynewsi.com says that there are no Bandai Thundercats exclusives at SDCC. I for one am with Twisted Two-Face and hoping it's Golden Girls.
-
So....any idea when AFX will get around to revealing their exclusive?
It sure feels like never.
-
I wonder what the inside of this looks like.

This is my new favorite thread.
-
So when does the middleman thread starts?
Shouldn't need one. Go to Luke's Toy Store or AFX to preorder SDCC exclusives.

Kinda wish Bruce Willis had the hole in his head so I can add hair for a younger Bruce.
We would have had a riot on our hands.
Okay Zach... I see your Frank Martin quick custom (awesome BTW) and raise you... a John McClane.
I fold.
Because Die Hard is the 80's property that will be an AFX SDCC Exclusive?

I got a Vita at launch and I'm not blown away by it but the potential of it is too great to let it go this early. The Uncharted game is good and if you are into Baseball MLB the show is fun and you can play the same franchise on the ps3 and Vita thanks to the ability of saving to the cloud. I think that if you give up on it now something is going to come out and you'll be wishing you still had it.

speaking of sony stuff, my ps3 stopped playing blu-rays discs :/ movies and games, EVERY thing else works fine on it except that, is this a system breaking problem or can it be fixed without losing all my saved stuff?
My first PS3 did this too and I contacted Sony and they said it would be about $150 to fix. So I just bought a new one and use the old one as a digital media player. Also I think you can subscribe to Playstation Plus and back up all of you saves and stuff to some sort of cloud storage.

Makes perfect sense. Alan always had a weakness for wood.
Nice

here are a couple pics of the DKR and DK Batman figures. The DKR is in fact more shiny.
-
I think it is the right one the gauntlets and boots are quite glossy. I'll take a better pic when I get home.

I don't think so. The picture was taken with my phone and I was here a couple days ago and they were not on shelves. I'd also be willing to bet the case ratio is 3x Batman 2x Bane 1x Alfred. Which is exactly what's on the shelf.
Also they have the correct piece for the bat signal in them

I went to TRU to look for the Amazing Spider-man Minimates, which were not there, but they did have the Dark Knight Movie Masters out and all of the Batman figures are packaging errors. Everyone they have look like this.

My TrU restocked an entire case of these. If anyone is in need PM me.

Maybe things will pick up once the movie opens.

Sorry for the thread necro but while in NYC last week I went and saw this show. It's not the worst thing in the world but is far from great. It was one of those things that is almost good but falls just short. The first act is a little boring but it does get better during the second. When I heard that the songs were from Bono and The Edge I was a little excited but unfortunately they were mostly bad. One bright spot is the "webslinging" which is pretty creative and exciting. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 5.

The wife and I went on a little trip to NYC and Boston over the weekend and I ran into Spider-Man. I didn't know he played the sax or that he had fallen on such hardship.
Hopefully the new movie will turn things around for him.

The Disney Store in Times Square has both sets in stock.

Crap. We left after the first one
Sweet that just gives you an excuse to see a fantastic movie again!! It's crazy how good that movie is.
-
This movie was everything I wanted it to be and more. Absolutely wonderful. Wow.

I picked up a full set yesterday at my TRU and they are pretty fantastic. A couple small gripes are that Hawkeye's hairpiece is about 3 feet long on the front and Thors hammer is very rubbery. Other than that they are great. Haven't been here in a while how is everyone?
Amazing Spiderman Movie Mates!
