Grats guys

I've been playing Aliens: CM since the weekend - early copy - and sadly, the reviewers are correct. Poor graphics, VERY clunky gameplay and a confusing story. I haven't been this disappointed in a game in a looooooong time.

I'm waiting on my lost in the post CE version.

REviews and all have me very sad

ITs more a reboot than a prequel I think, and its rather devoid of animals

I can probably find somewhere selling it cheaper than that, or at best give you some Tesco codes.

I guess it raises the issue of if you count those (and by extension the Bombmate, MoTM mate et al) as part of a complete collection

Whats the quality and such like on the non Microchangers?

So, did anyone else end up rewatching (or watching for the first time) Aliens last night?

For reference, anyone who hasn't seen the film, while all versions are bloody fantastic, the Directors Cut / more prevalent Blu ray version is by far the best version of the film.

Fun fact for the LiS detractors a lot of people grew up with the show, I mentioned it in passing to my Dad when I saw him earlier, he wants some for his retirement mancave. Thats a man who hasn't ever bought a Minimate nor a figure for as long as I can remember.

It would be cool if yes they were accessories in each pack, but if they threw enough in I'd forgo a character slot for them.

If memory serves Alien variations based purely on Aliens would get you Warriors, Chestbusters a Queen and arguably a Praetorian/Royal Guard (although thats heavily debatable) so yeah they'd probably have to go down the battle damaged route quite quickly.

Bases are a must as are cocooned civilians and backdrops, if DST don't do these I pray Luke will

So what would people like to see as the first wave?

I'd love to see each 2 pack as 1 human / 1 alien that way alien army building happens quickly and stock piling Marines would be super quick and easy too.

Ripley / Warrior Alien

Vasquez / Face Hugger & Eggs

Gorman / Praetorian Alien

Bishop / Damage Warrior Alien (Chase = Damaged Bishop)

Throw out an exclusive Ripley (with Flamethrower/Pulse combo) and Newt double pack.

Pack Hudson (or Gorman? Apone?) with the APC and put out the Alien Queen/Power Loader as a 2 pack of "vehicles" so they aren't constrained by size.

This way (imo) you've got a hot first wave that allows for rampant army building as the marines would surely come with enough parts to pass off dupes as random grunts and you keep enough of the key characters (Hicks, Burke etc) for a strong wave 2 too.

So I FINALLY found the Microchangers at UK retail, sadly not the preview wave so I guess I'm doomed to spend eternity without Galvatron and Scorponok

Picked up Bludgeon, Insecticon, Hook, Springer and Dirge.

I'm rather impressed, these might just fill the void the demise of WSTs left in my heart.

Here's one for you that is probably a checked box I'm just not seeing.

When I hit "quote", how do I get it to come up as raw code and not smart images. I can [bracket] words [/bracket] faster than I can figure out how many spaces to delete and who said what where. Like I said, I figure it's a check box, but I'm not seeing it. :/

Not intentional, the CSS for quotes is very... umm.. modern, to the point I think it has rendering issues on almost every browser that isnt from the future.

Its possible. But unlikely. These things cost money, this skin is pretty much the default IPB 3.4.2 skin, much like the last skin was pretty much the default 3.2 skin

Im not understanding the "a little bigger" part of the request though, if anything I'd say everything is bigger on this skin,
