Has anyone gotten a shipping confirmation from Luke for the Golden Girls Shockini box set yet?
I know he posted that the Doctor Who sets have already shipped, but I thought the Golden Girls were supposed to be released this week too!?!?!?
There was an accident at the factory so I decided to retool them completely and am currently flying them out by Unicorn to the stores

On the home page, way down deep in the middle of the congo (alternatively at the bottom of the page) is a "View Active Content" link which points here:

Once on that page if you go down into umbongo land again theres a further option for the timescale of activity
Is that waht you want? if so is it okay down there now you know where it is or do you want it given more prominence?
As for the spell checker, dont most browsers have that built in nowadays, Id rather tax your clients than my servers, or at least I assume its built into my FF install, I honestly dont know considering my spelling is abysmal though its perhaps not a bad plan

Yeah its not just you, I had a nightmare with one large US package, wasnt helped by sending Mrs Ady who can be know to rage at incompitent staff, I think by her fourth trip she was ready to murder them..

I fell foul of that exact same jibberish on my last ebay clear out. Stupid rules about weight AND/OR dimensions on international mail from the UK is quite, quite mad.

I'm sure there's been human-sized Sentinels in the past, that isn't gospel... but I'm almost certain.It just mystifies me why DST don't just make a decent box-set of the big guys & have done with it? I never thought the Sentinels would sell but hey what would I know but having Sentinels smaller than Juggernaut just makes this vicious circle, spiral .
There most certainly have been human sized sentinels, but the ones i remember didn't look like the classic sentinels.
Operation: Zero Tolerance featured Prime Sentinels which were humans that had been fitted with nano-technology capable of transforming them into heavily armed creatures that looked similar to Bastian.
For what its worth the very very early Sentinels (Issue 100ish) were human sized and appear the same as the "classic" sentinels

Its possible to convert the HTML to BB Code (I just did the first one in your example as an example)
Im honestly shocked the board was ever correctly parsing that html, primarily because its a freaking huge security risk unfortunately(!) I wont be able to configure it to allow raw html in posted messages again because the board just doesnt like it (security risk aside).
I can slowly work my way through and manually alter them tho, as can anyone else :/

Have I mentioned how much I love the new Messenger system? Because I do.
I realise that you can't please everybody but I'd been struggling like f*£k with my messages until I figured that the system was full. I appreciate that this is my fault although I just can't miss the opportunity to blame someone :biggrin: I do like the changes to the 'board' but it's a bit like waking up one morning & finding your toilet-pan has been painted red & is now in the kitchen.

I generally use my iPhone for visiting here.
After the upgrade, it started sending me to the mobile site but there was an option at the bottom of the page allowing me to use the full site, but today that option has disappeared.
Not sure if it has been removed or if it can be reinstated. Any help?

The site was always quite orange, although I can tone it down. This is kinda how I want things to look longer term, Im aware theres some issues with the page selector buttons been orange on white and stuff but on the whole its reasonably finished, aside from non sucky logos ofc!
The hoem apge should also be nicer now with some pretty little scripting to change the width of the site

Its worth pointing out with the hindsight of been annoyingly old(!) and have kids of my own, life isnt fair and sadly most people dont get to do what they enjoy for a living, working is for most people a sacrifice we make of our time in order to have the things we want/need to survive/make the best of our lives.
I cant really add much more as I guess there are cultural differences, when i was 24 I'd been working full time for 8 years and such, been at school at 24 is a "luxury" I could not have

Ady, I'm using Chrome and see the same thing that Storm does. Does this mean I need to switch browsers? While I prefer Chrome, I don't mind using IE until all the kinks are worked out

Again wow. Now your deleting posts fr only trying to help. Real classy. Not to mention I just read this whole thread and failed to see where you said you didn't want feedback.
I edited my post as not to upset you, and hid your response.
You made a suggestion about an issue, I said its due to browser differences and that it may not get fixed as basically Im lazy and I know it can be fixed but I'd appreciate it if no "web designers" pop up and spout of what I do to fix it because I know, I just dont know if I can be bothered. You then took exception to this despite the fact that I had no idea you are one of these "web developers", I then decided as I'm technically staff again that Im better off not responding and also edited the posts to clean it all up.
Your post (complete with quote of mine is back) and my points still are:
Just because something can be done doesnt mean I will (Browser versions comment)
IE8 is a legacy browser as it is now only the most recent version of IE on out of support versions of Windows.
Im not quite sure why you're getting so worked up over it though.

The "new" skin should be VERY similar to the old one, fonts, colours, images and such.

Thats because (I think) we're more modern than you. (Srsly IE9 is out but doesnt support XP), for the interim get Firefox or something, Im still working a new skin which *may* work but its really hard to design stuff that works with legacy browsers (if you're me, doing this in your spare time).
Quote boxes will be fixed with new skin
