  1. And i am really considering getting some of these. Does anyone have any really good advice?? I'm so confused on if i want one or not...

I'd say to pick up a couple of your favorites first, then you can decide whether or not they're worth it. Thats what I did. I picked up a Venom, then an Iron Man, then a Yoda....... and here I am 103 muggs later =) haha

  2. So after going through my photobucket, I decided to count how many customs I've done thus far and to my surprise, I've completed 30!!! Yes, 30 of em! LOL Not only that, I have many more sitting on my shelf waiting to be started/finished. You would think I'd be sick of em already but I feel like I'm just getting started ;) So to mark the occasion, I made a collage to share with you guys. Enjoy the pic!

  3. So after waiting nearly a month for him to arrive from Hong Kong, it turns out my Post Office has had him since last Tuesday and forgot to send me a pick-up notification  Anyways, hes wayyy awesome and definately one of my favorite muggs! His cape is actually only one piece and I'm sure will be in high demand among customizers.

Heres some pics for you guys:

Cant wait till they get officially released so I can start on my Skrull army!

  4. Finally updating my collection pics after a couple months LOL As you can tell I had to change my method of displaying them as I have too many to continue the previous way. I like em this way too though. I'll hopefully do another update in a few days when I get the 2 exclusive sets and my Vision should he ever arrive from Hong Kong =) On to the pics...

  5. So after finally finishing the Star Wars Force Unleashed game, it became apparent that I needed to make the main character, Starkiller, into a custom! I chose his apprentice costume as it seems to be the most popular. It has A LOT of detail so it was quite a challenge but definately worth the effort =) Hope you guys like him! Comments/Feedback appreciated as always.

  6. Thats 30 seconds of my life I'll never get back lol

Anyways, it all comes down to personal taste, if they're not for you, just move on =) I mean you only bought 1 and spent $10 bucks lol Mighty Muggs arent for everyone but they are really pupular and have done extremely well.

Also, care to share a pic of you using it as a coaster?!?! Sounds like a spill waiting to happen =)

  7. Hey, i saw on your ebay auction that you had a Mugg head of Grey-Fox. it looked like him anyway, did you make one or is that a future creation? if so, DEFINITLY make it, that would be awesome!

I've actually only done the concept art for him but hope to turn him into a custom soon =) Glad you liked him. Your Frankenstein is pretty sweet!

Anyways, updated post with Classic Batman!

  8. Thanks for the comments guys =) I really appreciate it!

I use regular acrylic paints that can be found at Michaels, Walmart etc. I think they are like $.97 each?!?! They take a few coats but its worth it. Anyways, all my customs start with a concept drawing (see my other thread) then I prime the mugg, sketch the design in pencil, do the outlining in black paint, then paint the colors =) After I'm done I spray em with a matte acrylic sealer. Its actually really easy painting muggs and I'd encourage anyone to try it. I'll try and take some work in progress shots next time.

*** I added Aayla to my original post =) ***
