I've also got a lot of the exclusives that have been put out.

The face on the one already released sucks, anyway (I personally replaced it with Sentry's face. . .like I also did with my wave 12 Captain America).

Not a bad idea, I'll have to try that sometime... From what I've understood, there are just going to be the four mini's but there would be extra parts to do different looks for Wasp and change Ant Man to Giant Man.

I'd have to go with the wave 5 Cap too. It was my first one, got it one night at Wal-Mart, and I was hooked as soon as I got the box open.

Most valuable? I don't know, I have a lot of the Marvel varients... Most valuable to me though would be the John Stewart that Reideen was able to snag for me.

Like most of you, my local shops don't have any of earlier waves of the DCD 'mates. It seems like they've actually been selling better than the Marvel 'mates. I'm still having the hardest time trying to find the Hawkman/Hawkgirl pack. These were the only the figures I got from DCD anymore, mostly due to minis being all around superior (IMO) and minis smaller space requirements, so they've lost another customer as far as action figures go. Hopefully DST will be able to pick up the licence eventually. Until then at least I have several things to be excited about with the Iron Man, Avengers, and Invaders sets.

Is this a trick question? Because I can't remember anyone actually "partnering" with Ragman... I think there was one team up with Batman, though?

The reason Hal never came out in mass was he only appeared for 20 secs. in JLU. Kyle got more like 5 minutes.

And first introduced in S:TAS, Kyle had a whole episode there.

I really enjoyed for what it was, but do we really need Singer directing a freaking remake of Superman 2 now? Come on Warners, learn from the mistakes you made in this film and give the public the Superman movie they really want. Keep the cast, but stop with the 20 year remake angle!

I'm starting to warm up to the full head piece design. As other people mentioned if executed well, this could be a nice step forward. We'll just have to waitand see the finished product.

The protos look great though (IMO) even with the fingerprints visible in the paint.

I want in on the "thanks" list too. Not just for the GL, which so rocks more in person than pictures can show, but for being just an all around great group of guys. The fun we "regular" members have is all thanks to you core fellows' making this site and being as inviting as you have been.

I agree. The only reason I would check out the AA boards now is for news and the Q&As, but with the prospect of getting the same thing here so high it's not looking like I'll really even cruise through over there.

My question is - which Hawkgirl costume would they use? Comics or JLU?

Looking at the first waves, I think the animated style of John Stewart is a fluke. I would completely expect DCD to want to focus on the comic versions of the characters. Don't get me wrong, I'd be happy with either one, but it seems more logical for a comic Hawkgirl and a comic Hawkman to come out.

2) Switch the Brainiac they have out for either the green-skinned version with the little dots on his head or the silver, all metal one (as seen during Crisis on Infinite Earths and the Super Powers toy line).

I want to see either one of those versions myself, but I like the idea of Brainiac 13/BD Supes because B13 had a role in the Our Worlds at War story.

Which raises the question of the Sentry, whose using the C3 Superman cape. In the last unanswered Ask DST thread I raised this question.

They didn't seem to have a problem with parts reuse between C3 and Marvel. Aside from the obvious change of feet, I want to remeber that the exclusive Punisher and Justice Lord Superman share the same hair piece. Didn't the protos for C3 Wonder Woman originally feature a slightly reworked Jean Grey hairpiece? I'm sure we'll see parts from either line creep into the other, it's cheaper for all three companies.
