  2. Yep, he got the hookup on AFTimes trading forum TBT. Sorry that he didn't post or pm you and Reideen, since you've worked so hard to help members out. Sorry, I sent out all of my extra ones to various other friends and members. As a matter of fact, I had a heart attack as I thought I had sent out my Mate too :P Luckily I found my extra one I had hidden in my bag  Like I said earlier, I'm envious of the amount you and Shane were able to grab. Would have loved to get more for members here ;)

  3. Would be interesting to see Brainiac as a villain. It's unfortunate they went the petty criminal route with Luthor, loved the business shark angle that Byrnes and STAS came up with myself. I personally would love to see Parasite in a major role, but I'm sure WB is going to stir away from repeating some of the mistakes they made on the latter Batman movies.

  4. I think you bring up a interesting question MM. Does anyone know if the new Minimates or DCD Minimates are going to have the C3 feet? While I have yet to open up my Mates to see the difference, can someone post a pic of the difference in feet? Also, will anyone that's not a Minimaniac really notice the differences?

  5. OK, nothing to see here people... But seriously Ricky, that is getting ridiculous. Using the same two Smiley's in every single post does get annoying...

Says the man who used the Wolverine smilie like it was his personally chew toy :P Personally, I don't see the harm in anyone using whatever avatars to emote ;) As you can see, I like the smilies, it takes a bit of the seriousness out of some post most of the time

Edited for grammer and spelling errors  Gold star to Logan for pointing this out :D

  6. Exactly my point Ady, glad you caught what I was trying to say ;) No need to close the thread down and start a new list until we know what folks were able to score in Chicago :D Hopefully TBT and Shane took care of a majority of the list and folks who just found out can get a hook up from the folks who attended Chicago. Definately makes me look forward to the upcoming line :)

  7. Hello fellow marvel heroes wannabees, i am currently collecting and selling the marvel classic figurine collection. All figurines and info can be found on www.marvel_figurines.co.uk and from myself. These figures are the best i have came across, the detail is perfect, paintwork superb, boxed to protect from damage and a total of sixty figures in total plus SPECIALS. A mutal friend tm2bd passed this link onto myself so i plan to keep a close eye on this board to get your guys feedback and info on the past, present and future of the marvel world

the website address is www.marvel-figurines.co.uk for the UK based figurines.

Only two of the fantastic four are available to buy at the moment, THE THING and Human Torch, Mr Fantastic is not due for a month or two and Invisble girl middle of next year. Click on the link to see the figures in the range so far. They are released in pairs each month and the current issues are number 24 & 25 so you can work it out from there. There were pilot editons released to assess if it was feasible to run these figures, although the same figures they changed the issue numbers on them and the first six figures came complete with a little box detailing their names. upon the success of the pilots the full run went into production and they changed the run of the figures and did not supply the box covers. For full details of the different numbers check out ebay under seller scrimgeour2004 and click one of the figures for sale. I recently sold numbers one to four but have 5 STORM and 6 IRON MAN available. The listing gives all the figures details on the pilot and normal run. I think for the money these figures are tremendous value and the scale is just right as there will be over sixty in the full run and i dont have a room big enough to hold them if they were any bigger HA HA. Any questions please ask

Ah, there you go, you had a underscore(_), instead of a dash(-) in your initial post. Anybody have any ideas how these are being distributed in the states? Is it going to be like Titan publications Trek magazine, through Diamond? Definately like these and would love to pick them up.

  8. Glad to have you aboard, plan on checking out the website when I get a chance. I have a buddy in Ireland and might have to call in some favors. Oh, and he loves being considered in the UK or English too ;) You were saying these are coming to the states, any idea who through? Thanks for posting, hopefully you'll still post on a regular basis and with pics :D

  9. Guess I'll give you and Nick something to read when you get back from Chicago, as your probable already there setting up for the show. Yeah, would have to agree, J-Bone matches your personality as much as D-Lite fits mine  Now if it was Heavy D, we might have something :P Hopefully the Chicago show is successful for you and the rest of the motley crew. I know your doing a little mult tasking and don't get arrested selling Minimates to minors. I'm sure your wife doesn't want to receive that call asking her to bail you out :D

  10. hey don, still have a few of the old guard on call if i need them, and one or two secret service cats as well. i volunteer to handcuff the minimate briefcase to my arm during transport...you could be on the rooftops with all your old buds too

Guess I'll have to up my walks with Max to 3 times a day starting tomorrow. Sadly, I lost track of most of my comrades from The Battalion. Last time I saw my old AG I was getting out and he was heading off to Pre-Ranger. Blew my mind, since he was basically in the slot I would have had, if not for a busted ankle  On a lighter note, I guess we can ask Adam if he needs extra security next year ;)

  11. Just finished the second season of Superman(TAS) and I have to say that last scene in "The Late Mr. Kent" was pretty dramatic for a animated show. For me, it would have been nice to hear some commentary on that. There was one episode commentary that was just worthless and there were plenty of episodes that might have made for a better retrospect on, but that's just me.

  12. Man, that sucks. It's unfortunate that human nature always has to rear it's ugly head. Oh, and Shane, I was wondering how you paid for that sweet honeymoon :P Nervous, are you still in contact with your fellow WH Marine comrades? Might be nice to have tighter security for Chicago and next years con. Of course you won't be able to be with Slave Princess Leia again, but that could be a good thing

  13. Does anyone have a recent TRU mailing newpaper from yesterday that they could scan? My friend got a newspaper yesterday and it shows you can get either Classic Cap or Classic Iron Man minimate. You can't tell if they have new faces cause they have masks :P

Our newspaper had the flyer that's on the TRU website: linkage (all clothes, no movies or toys)

Lurch, like Jem, you truly are outrageous. I think it's you that need a cool Matrix name, since there isn't much that gets passed you my friend ;)

  14. I don't know HAR, have you been to SDCC? Seems for the most part, security is less than lax to be honest :D I know several times I had to show them my badge going into events or the hall. Kind of weird how they got Cylon without anyone noticing, since it seemed to be in a glassed case. But I really didn't pay attention to the other side of the display. I'll post some pics of the display when I dig them out of the luggage ;)

  15. Yeah, I sent Jerkface a e-mail too and the silly bastard doesn't answer  Man, marriage has changed you Shanester :P Just kidding, congratulations to you and the Mrs. May the 8 you've spent together be filled by more happy years down the road ;)

  16. Like Ady and some others, I've joined, but I'm not seeing alot of activity there to be honest. Seems to me that everyone knows where to get their information first when it comes to "accuracy" ;) As far as the Trekkies/Trekkers, even they don't seem to be any more excited than the Minimate fans. Something to keep in mind though, not all of them are bad people. If you don't like them or the forum for that matter, just ignore it and pretend it doesn't exist :) I will tell you that if it wasn't for Trek(Dark Angel), I wouldn't be a Minimaniac myself :D
