okay, now more about Miki: In my search for the name of Johnny Mo (who I was just going to call “Gordon Liu’s character” but realized that could also apply to Pai Mei) I found a listing on the Kill Bill Wikia for “Miki” (claiming him the first one killed) which clearly shows a dude. A google search for “Kill Bill Miki” brings up more pictures of said dude (who actually does look like one of the minimates we’re getting) typing in “female crazy 88” brings up pictures of the woman we’ve been calling “Miki” often called “a female crazy 88”.... so what the hell is going on?!?!

Ok, so here goes... Tetsuro Shimaguchi is a "Samurai Sword Artist" who did the sword play choreography for the movie and was given the role of 'Miki' by QT.

The girl Crazy 88 was played by Julie Manase and was referred to as "Crazy 88 #6" or simply "#6". She was originally called in to teach Japanese stage combat to the lead actors and QT offered her the role. It's also kinda cool to note that her father is Sonny Chiba.

I'd have to say a original Four Horsemen set with a updated Apocalypse or X-Man in his original blue and yellow outfit.

I went to visit my hometown and found two of the Cap through the ages packs for $1.78 apiece at the TRU there. That was the extent of their minimate selection.

My TRU got a case today… of Iron Man 3. Which makes total sense since they still have 3-4 stragglers hanging about from the last case back in June. Not to mention about 20-30 assorted packs of earlier series and 2 full pegs of the AVX box set. Plenty of Mirage, Magma, Rictor, Kingpin, Silver Surfer, Anihilus, Amazing Spidey's and others to go around. All at the whooping $6.99 "clearance" price.

My store is the exact same way. Only they have "buy one get one 40% all ironman figures and playsets" on the ironman minimates with them at their regular price.

Finally found them in northern california today. The only janeway/seven pack had the messed up face seven so the cashier decided to knock 10% off my purchase.

I checked my store here in northern california yesterday and saw nothing but then when i went there today they had four empty peghooks with the tags for them on a end-cap that had just been put up. I asked the floor associate and he left and came back a few minutes later and said they didn't receive any but to keep checking back each day

I've been getting the same thing from firefox on Marvelousnews for the last few days.

So far the only store around here that has them is TRU and they had alot of em. I picked up the Loki's escape with the S.H.I.E.L.D. truck since i could handle the $2 price increase over the $10 one for the Quinjet. Everything i saw referred to them as 'alien soldier'.

Found a case on the pegs at my local TRU this afternoon. Managed to get two sentinel/ryu sets and one of each of the others. I really didn't care for the spiderman, but i wanted that chris redfield

These sold out FAST in all of the local stores I visit, and haven't been restocked for over a month. Can anyone confirm that these are the in-store prices too?

i went to my local store yesterday and they had all minimates except the marvel ones (and the only ones they had of them were the fantastic four series and the stiltman packs) on clearence. there was a $4.98 tag for the halo mates but it was empty and the only thing i found halo-wise was the warthog for $9.98. i managaed to get the MAX special ops set for $3.98 while the smokejumpers were $4.98 too

maybe they're finally going to make World of Warcraft minimates

I work at a store here in northern california and i check the computer regularly and haven't seen them yet.although we have 24 as 'pending'. did get the halo mates in and sold out of the two packs in one day and have 3 warthogs left.

I had started collecting minimates since the first 5 packs at toys r us and had almost a complete set with variants and all the C3 sets and had just gotten a complete set of series 18 and 19 with variants and the sisko variant star trek pack when i went on a trip to housesit for a friend.while i was gone my former sister didn't bother telling me the man buying my parents house where i was living stopped paying the mortgage and it got sold at auction.the day after the auction the new guy who bought it broke in and threw everything of mine away and let his mexican cleaning crew take all my electronics (including my desktop) and dvds and even let them take over $900 in legos.needless to say i had a box with maybe 15 minimates in it that was in my car and that was all i had left.i was lucky i had my Apocalypse(my favorite) but his hoses were in another box and i lost my archangel variant

Finally got a chance to get to the TRU nearest to me and found one set of hb/gh which i snagged,and three sets of lj/bb along with a bunch of sets of the others,and two pegs full of iron man 2 second series.They also had new ghostbuster minimates in about 3 different spots

heh i won something through their 'free toy fridays' on myspace in 2007 and never got anything luckily i never hold my breath for customer service from anyone.

I found em at the store here in the roseville,ca area. I picked up Thor/Loki and Klaw/Storm. I really like the Storm and had been looking forward to getting her,but I was kinda not very interested in Klaw til i took him out and looked at him

The Loki is great too,but I don't like Thor's new chest/cape piece.It's too bulky and makes him look like the old Kingpin minimate. I hafta say the Ultimate Thor is my favorite
