  1. Has anyone picked up the Sabertooth that comes with Wolverine on a motorcycle. These are a TRU exclusive. I broke down and bought it becase simply because of Sabertooth. I justified paying $20 for the set by just telling myself that I have payed more on ebay for a single figures that I couldn't find in stores. I have to say it...

    SABERTOOTH ROCKS!!!

He is perfect scale with the MU and his articulation matches perfectly. Some people complained about the metallic paint but mine doesn't seem to have that problem. Now when I get the brown Wolverine from the upcoming Secret Wars two-packs, I'll be happy.

  2. I got the Deadpool tonight at Wal-Mart. He might be half-way decent, except that his web-gear sucks big time. The sword sheaths are way too high up on his back, and look really strange. What's worse is, there doesn't seem to be anywhere that you can disconnect it to take it off of him, so I can't take it off to see if he looks better without it.

I cut mine off using an exacto knife. I kept his belt but lost the webbing. He looks 100% better.

  3. By now the news is out regarding the first three 2 packs of secret wars that are supposedly in the same scale as the Fury Files figures. Here are the rest...

  4. Ugh, i might as well be the one to say this before BHM or MoC gets to you...

We already have like 3 threads for this, and have known about it for 3 days now...please, before you post, try to see if it's already here. We've had a lot of unneeded threads lately, and it's been getting a little annoying...

Sorry for trying to help. I didn't see the other threads.

  5. These figures weren't supposed to be released until March 1st but I did find Silver Surfer and a Human Torch at Toys R Us today. They also had the entire line of Wolverine Origins (with the exception of Deadpool). I opted to get the Wolverine orgings Wolverine (in brown costume) and Gambit because they looked so cool. They are in perfect scale with the 3 3/4 Daredevil that I already have but they don't have as much articulation.

    I can't wait for these...http://marvelousnews.com/index.php?catid=23&itemid=11985

  6. Sorry it took so long for me to add these pics. You can see below that his DD's head is too far forward and that his feet are too small for his body. Also, there is paint rubbed off his nose. I hope the others are better. This scale does fit with others of similar size except for the Showdowns. DD does look good getting body slammed by Stone Cold.

  7. These have already been released in Singapore. Believe it or not I could not wait and I bought a Daredevil off ebay from someone in Singapore. The total with shipping was $30.01. I now have the man without fear in my possession. I must say, I was excited to get this figure but sadly this figure is a dud. The articulation is good but the side view is terrible as DD's head and neck stick out too far from the body. Also, the head is oversized. The plastic is cheap and the right hand is much smaller in scale than the right hand.

  8. I am very happy for you. I actually lost out twice with MM. I bought the javelin for a decent price of Ebay only to find no minimates included. The small print stated that they weren't included but I was so happy to see "Buy It Now" for $25 that I didn't read the whole auction. When I finally got one for a decent price, he did not come with the boot tops. Oh well, I still have Jonn so I guess I'm okay.

  9. Who'd you use? I need to do it too.

I have actually used a few, and it changes every once in a while, since I still haven't found one that works "just right." I think the review on Minimates Central notes that the variant looks to have the absolute perfect face for Thor, but it is hidden behind the mask and beard. I have used Sentry, Hawkman, and Quicksilver at various times, but none of them quite captures the stoic, focused nature of Thor. Wave 5 Cap might work well, but he doesn't have a hole in his head for Thor's helmet. If someone has found a face that really works, then please post.

I meant on Punisher. I don't have Thor.

I know you meant Punisher but I will give you Thor anyway. Aquaman is perfect for those of you that want to try.
