I've been hoping these would be released soon!

Curious, where did you find yours and has anyone else had any store sightings?

Corner Store Comics hasn't let me down yet. I've placed several orders and preorders with them.

Speed Racer minimates are now listed on www.toysrus.com for $7.99. They are Temporarily Unavailable Online but hey, it's progress in the minimates world.

There's no distinguishing if it's Speed Racer or Racer X so not sure how that works. But that should make it pretty easy for those of you who still can't find them in the stores. And it may help introduce the brand to other collectors.

I wonder if the 4-packs are far behind? Sure beats searching all the stores in your area again and again.

I found these today at the TRU in Farmington, CT.

Despite frequenting the 4 TRUs within 20 - 30 minutes from my house, this is the first I've seen them. They were on a cart, still in the box, getting ready to be put on the shelf. Just arrived today.

Still no sign of Speed Racer in the area. Most of the stores are in disarray as they move stuff around preparing for the holiday season. Who knows where they may have put them?

Your work is flawless and your instructional blog on MMHQ was inspiring. Nicely done! I can understand why you pull in the premium pricing on ebay.

Looking at our work I always assumed you used computer generated artwork decals for the faces. They are always so flawless, especially the eyes, how could it be anything but? Do you truly handpaint all your 'mate faces?

I joined the AA boards about two days before they went down, not to be seen again over these dark couple of weeks. Let's hope my presence wasn't prophetic over their extended downtime.
