An Avengers era Beast would be most welcome however a Nightcrawler that people can actually find/afford should be priority one out of the list above. Powerhouse chests are cool and work for guys like Venom and Thing but without a 2.5 body for characters like Rhino and Juggy why bother? Doom, Bullseye, and Goblin updates would be cool but I can live without them and I'm sure a 616 Sabes will show eventually but I can wait.

Looks like most of it (the wings and the front part) is the cape from C3 Mini Batmobile Batman. I can't quite tell what the middle part is.

I just ordered the second wave from AFX. After shipping it pretty much comes out to what I'd pay at retail and without driving around looking for the variant.

The wait for these things is killing me!

Essentially the animated series characters were modeled off the Jim Lee art. Although I believe this is where the book took a style over substance nosedive I have to admit the characters looked cool. Some animated X-Men Minimate love would be appreciated except for Morph, he sucked.

Good Friday to you one and all. I just received a reply from Action Figure Express. They told me that the Defenders minimate boxed set will be available for preorder next week (Aug 06 - 10) and will retail for $14.99 a pop. Can't wait!

I just got the ML Stan yesterday and was thinking about how cool it would be to have him as a Minimate.

Namor's ears dont look very pointy in that defenders pic. Not lovin' Powerhouse Hulk's face I'll just have to swap out old Hulks head like I did with Venom. Either way I'm sooooo looking forward to all these great waves.

It looks like if you take off the vest and replace it with Ocean Masters belt, Dick Grayson Robin's crotch and legs and... what feet would make the painted Robin ones?

Caprica Six has bare feet. Thats what I used for my Namor custom. Speaking of customs a little yellow paint and Polaris becomes a pretty good Enchantress.

I just saw a different pic in the new Previews. Tasky has a sword, a shield and a bow. SWEET!!!!

His hood and cape look any better? I plan on getting this 2-pack but from the pick on page one the cape and hood look really akward

I just picked up the Batgirl/Bane and the Steel/Cyborg packs and I'm really impressd.

Batgirl- Pretty much perfect love the sculped purse, that was a nice suprise

Bane- Looks really good, I dig the venom tubes and the removable mask is a nice plus too.

Steel- Wow I really think this is a fantastic 'mate the details are right on and for a bulky character he poses very well.

Cyborg- The best of the bunch. The head is spectacular, he looks pissed, great job.

I'll grab the others maybe next week. These four sold me on the rest of the wave.

I dont really care much for Starfire or Ambush Bug (I'm more of a Marvel guy) but I really like the rest. Lobo looks great but needs to have a chain wraped around his wrist. Glad to see Flash and Nightwing making the scene, Grodd and Clayface look awesome. Classic Batman looks good but I really think this slot could have been better filled with Knightfall Batman or the 90's black/dark gray Batman. Either way great wave.
