Got my Defenders today! Wow, best set yet. Anybody make Hulk taller by slightly raising his torso till the purple on his PH chest is even with the upper edge of his hips? You get a nice bit of hight this way. Im thinking of making spacers for his ankles to squeeze a little more hight outta him.

Quite a few people have complained about ripped boxes...

You cant blame AFX for that. They use pretty thick boxes. If your box is damaged blame the USPS. The shipping though... Thats robbery.

About time! I got my tracking number on the 14th!

I'm such a scatter brain. I must have ordered this thing twice from two different places... I just got a second defender's box in the mail

So, is it typical to get the tracking number from AFX, and it not change for days?

Supposedly my sets were shipped on the 14th (when I got my tracking #) from Hawthorne, Ca., and still nothing today!

I've never ordered directly from them so I'm not sure if this is the norm for them.

Usually, if I get a tracking number from something, its only 2-3 days before I get it!

Should I start to panic yet? cuz I am!

Same here. I got my BSG 3 three days after I ordered them and that was two days after I got the tracking info for The Defenders... Im sure they'll show soon.

That's my new favorite Hulk! Now we just need a Nighthawk 'mate and a Gargoyle 'mate....

Anybody get an email from AFX wanting you to rate them on the transaction - but you haven't gotten the shipment yet? I got a tracking # which gives me this message:

Its been at this status since I got the notification. I don't purchase much from AFX, but I know they have a good rep (aside from their shipping charges) so is this normal for an order from them?

First off Hellcat is a must for any Defenders collection... As for that message from the USPS tracking system, dont worry about it. USPS tracking sucks extra hard. Sometimes you actually receive your package before the system is updated. You'll get your Defenders. I noticed a lot of folks saying they got the Silver Spidey and the Defenders set at the same time. Is everybody that ordered the Defenders set getting the Silver Spidey? I thought you needed to order stuff from AFX's Christmas items to get one.

I do agree that DST shouldn't waste a lot of time with a lot of the alternate appearance versions of Kirk & crew (Bread and Circuses Kirk, Dress Uniform, etc) and proceed through each of the Star Trek series,making sure to cover the main crew, recurring crew characters and some signature non-crew.

We HAVE to get the "Mirror Universe" crew. We just have to... We also need "The City on the Edge of Forever" minis.

I'd personally like to see at least one more wave as I don't feel that we've got enough aliens/adversaries. I need (more) Klingons, Romulans, perhaps an Andorian, and others before we shift gears.

We can get all sorts of aliens as they branch out. Andorians had a big part in "Enterprise", Klingons and Romulans from "ST:TNG", The Borg from "Voyager" and Cardassians, Ferengi and Jem'Hadar from "DS9". "DS9" had the best aliens.

The thing that jumped out at me was that there's finally a skirt wearing character that remembered to put on underwear before leaving the house.

Yeah but shes the character to least likely to do so. Marty's mom was <ahem> good to go.

Now we need a 'mate to come with a drum kit!

? I gotta get the DVD's so I can re-watch them. Hard to remember all the details with how they space the seasons out. I was trying to hold out till the series to get the inevitable "Complete Series" set. Hope we get a chance to see Starbuck get her stein back.

if we get a Cavil and AA make a star trek wave about enterprise we get archer to meaning we have our own minimate version of Sam and Al from Quantum Leap

Now thats just about the coolest thing I've read on these boards... QL would make an excellent Minimate line.

I've never seen this movie, but I am a fan of Westerns and will definately pick these up. Can't wait to see what they actually look like.

If you like westerns and have never seen this film I suggest you go rent it ASAP. It's Great film as well as a "tentpole" for the genre.
