Moon Knight

How did you strip the paint off Spectres cape and hood to make that Moon Knight? Awesome work!

I need/want to remove a sleeve off a minimate head (specifically Batman DCD). It just doesn't budge. How should I go about it w/o damage to the mate or the sleeve?

Heat it up over a tea kettle just a little bit and that should loosen it up.

I want to strip the paint off of Spectres cape and hood. What do I use?

Gimmie The Masters of Evil or The Wrecking Crew. Some of the above mentioned army builders would be cool too. We can already army build S.H.I.E.L.D. agents with Nick Fury so I think Hydra, A.I.M., and Skrulls would be the best choices.

Very sad because they've really been turning out top notch stuff but being more of a Marvel, BSG and Star Trek fan if any line had to end DC would be my pick. I already have all the DC characters I'm be interested in anyway. If the line continues I will stay with it though.

From the range of characters we've been shown it looks like this line is going to be around for a while... Keep 'em coming!

Funny... Yesterday I went to a LCS and what was sitting there? A Nick/Cap 2 pack for $5.99! I got home and now I have a custom Sharon Carter (and yet another Cap)!

You can add me to the bad experience list as well. I ordered the Minimates Xpress Pack back in the middle of December. After having my credit card charged and never receiving a shipping notification, I finally called their customer service number last month to see what was up with my order. After numerous attempts I finally got a live person and they told me that my order had indeed shipped and was shown as having been delivered and signed for somewhere in Los Angeles, California. Problem is I live in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The customer service rep then informed me that it was not AFX's fault/problem that the package did not get delivered to the correct address and there was nothing that they would be willing to do about it (like sending a replacement Xpress Pack to the right address).

I would dispute that credit card charge if I were you. It's their fault the package was sent to the wrong address. As long as you have the correct "ship to" address listed on your AFX account you are in the right. Track the package yourself if it went to Cali you should not have to pay for it.

Ive been looking for him too. I havent bid for the same reason. I should have picked up more than one when the pegs at Target were flooded with him...

I pre-ordered my IM/BP and Defenders from them in December, and I got them about 2 weeks ago. You might wanna get on them about it. They have them in stock.

Oh Hell yes! I've actually been trying to piece together spare parts (with a minimum of sculpting. Reason #138 why I needed that Ghost Rider Movie wave to happen...that leather jacket for Jerry Only!) to customize the "original" Misfits. Great Danzig btw! Another visually-interesting band in mate-form would be GWAR. While I sincerely doubt that any of this would actually happen, it is fun to think about.

I think Marty from BttF comes with a leather jacket. Need the guitars from the BttF minis too. Doyle should be pretty easy to pull off with Namor a little paint and a little epoxy sculpt. As for drummers I'd go with Mr. Jim the first drummer, because he works with a friend of mine and hes a hell of a nice guy.

Yeah, I thought about Marty but I really wanted those crazy exagerated shoulder spikes and collar "up". The guitars would pretty much need to be completely sculpted. X-Men movie Juggernaut was my first choice for Doyle's chest with some boots to give him a little height (I suppose Danzig could use Penguin's "slippers"?!? LOL!! No offense Glenn, I'm only 5'6" myself). The drummers never really had "the look"(until Dr. Chud...but that's another story), but I'd probably go with Robo as I always loved the cover photo to "Walk Among Us". Rocky's robe could be used as a decent "Crimson Ghost" Fiend 'til something better (articulated) comes along. Samhain 'mates would be cool too (Danzig, Damien, London May, Eerie Von incarnation)...blood-spattered variants!

Just a quick note to let you know that my Glen custom now has the penguin feet. Awesome idea!

They got everything they need to make a Red Skull (as long as DCD would let them use Blackhawks parts). I think we'll see a Red Skull soon. As long as they manage to keep the Marvel license.

Sweet custom... I'll have to get around to getting another Blackhawk. Till then my existing Skull will have to do.

Seems like there are toy shows almost every weekend in NJ lately. I guy I work with goes but he never mentioned 'mates. Guess I'm going to have to start checking them out.
