Though I have been preparing for this announcement for the past few days, it still hit me a whole lot harder than I was expecting. Carrie had so much life left in her and was an inspiration to so many. On a personal level, her work to raise awareness for mental illness was particularly important and deeply affecting.

Her work on Episode VIII, and by extension the film as whole, is complete. The film has now entered post-production. Now how this will affect Episode IX is currently unknown.

His whole head seems very...strange (pun intended). The space between his eyes and mouth seem larger than usual, as well as his forehead. I think the hair sculpt could have hung forward a bit more to cover that gap, but some of that is the nature of Cumberbatch's head shape.

I loved, loved, LOVED this movie!
The best compliment that I can pay it is that it makes watching A New Hope even better.

Apparently Logan Marshall-Green will be playing yet another villain.
If you look at both trailers, both Bokeem Woodbine and Logan Marshall-Green are dressed like Shocker and each is wearing one of the Shocker gauntlets. Not sure what that indicates, but ...

From a story telling stand point, why would that suit be in the movie? It picks up after civil war
Well if you look closely, he's wearing it in the teaser.

Tickets for Rouge One: A Star Wars Story went on sale tonight (Got mine YEAH!!!). I figured it was about time a thread was opened to discuss this film.
I for one am extremely excited about this film and I can't wait to see it. Just seeing Darth Vader on the big screen again will be amazing.

As for me, The Haunting is this year's Halloween Midnight Movie. And by God is it fantastic.
Please tell me you're watching the classic 1963 one and not the dreadful remake. Actually, I'd be pretty scared to watch the 1999 one again.

There are also Aliens, X-Files, Through the Looking Glass, and Iron Giant Pops. Probably more overlap I can't think of.
Also Ghostbusters.

Despite the fact that I don't particularly love European I would still buy the heck out of those.

I second this... bigtime! I need Vacation, and Christmas Vacation mates, along with vehicles...... The accessories that could be involved would be insanely cool!
Yeah, we already have the squirrel necessary to add to Christmas Vacation set.
Having the Family Truckster would be amazing, and you could easily get a lot of variants out of that sculpt.

I NEED to have National Lampoon's Vacation Minimates. PLEASE DST, make 'Mates of these!

I unfortunately could not go out this year (stupid 8:00 AM class). I was able to order some stuff online last night (Pops and Black Series Kmart Jyn), and I'm going to try my luck today at Target, TRU, and Walmart to scoop up what I'm missing.

Bring on the Indiana Jones, man.
Apparently the Indy toy rights are a little tied up/confusing right now. Funko said they could only make Pops that are convention exclusives. Furthermore, both Indy Pops use the "Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Hidden Eye" branding on them which is based off the Disney ride (despite representing Radiers & Doom Indy).
It's all very strange...
I do really want Indy 'Mates though!

THEY'RE IN IT!!!
Get on it DST!

This is a tough one. He had been sick for so long, yet he continued to attend fan conventions. I only wish I could have had the chance to meet what so many described as an incredibly kind man.
-
Can you add me to the list please?

Gotta love those Funko Pop! collectors, eh...

@DSTZach you never fail to crack a joke at just the right time.

I saw that too. Maybe...it shouldn't be posted considering they probably broke a NDA there.

Got mine today! Thanks so much!
Superhero BootLego
in Building Block Figures
Posted
It's got molded female curves as opposed to the printed ones found on LEGO Brand figures. I'm not really a fan of bootlegged figures, but I have to admit that's pretty cool.
