I do not know why Walgreens does not list all of the MM lines on their site, and I have not checked if they include our action figures. I was happy just to get our listing language corrected so we appear above the vibrators, but you are right, I should push for the movie lines to be on the site, even if it is just a general movie listing. The animated code may not have even been updated since Series 1, which is now (I assume) sold out. Another thing I should check. MY FAULT. Hopefully the movie sets at your stores were purchased and not pulled.

Thanks for the response! I agree, getting Minimates listed above/away from the vibrators was a step in the right direction. I believe BP and Infinity War were pulled in two of the three stores in my immediate area. No BP at the third, but a lone Spidey/Hulk (Spidey's face was messed up so I passed) so I assume they at least had them out at some point.

  2. Hey @DSTZach have you talked with the Walgreens folks at all about getting better about listing their sets online? They seemed to have nailed down FUNKO POP! figures, yet the only thing they have listed for Minimates is a randomly selected pack of MARVEL Animated figures. And those sets are listed as SOLD OUT. Using the "find in store" feature reports that there are none within a 25 mile radius of my zip code, when in fact I went to three separate stores today and found the shelves pack with the animated lines (NO INFINITY WAR OR BLACK PANTHER THOUGH!:gah:)

No Thor, no Black Panther, no Avengers listed at all!

This seems like a massive missed opportunity to me, and with the possibility of TRU closing, I feel that Walgreens needs to step up their game in this department. It would certainly help me obtain the Black Panther and Infinity War figures I'm missing...just a thought...

  3. Nothing at my three closest Walgreens... Likely cleared out by manager override over the weekend.

So if anyone could help me out with the two exclusive sets, it'd be greatly appreciated.

  4. Ugh this is terrible... I went to three Walgreens yesterday. Two didn't have them. The third did, wouldn't ring up. I explained the situation to the cashier and she said she would put my name on them and the manager would check on it today and call me about it.

Didn't hear back so I called and was told that there was no sight of them, so they were sold by someone else who overrode the register. Complete BULL!

(So if anyone swiped them from the Walnut Creek, CA Walgreens, you owe me a set.)

I understand that in the grand scheme of life, this isn't a big deal, but it just seems to be getting harder and harder to get my 'Mates. Between TRU's closing or simply not even stocking waves (no sign of Thor, 24, or 25 at my store!), my LCS no longer stocking them because of recent release tactics (blind bags, poor case assortments, etc.) screwing them, and now this, I'm just frustrated. They're toys. It shouldn't have to be this hard to get them...

Well actually we never saw proxima midnight in he ttailer, so that's kind of a spoiler. Collectors know about her but once again the GA doesn't

They revealed her along with Thanos and the rest of the Black Order back at D23 in July.

  6. I agree. Outside of the Spidey arms, there is nothing in this assortment that hasn't already been revealed by trailers and other promo material. Hell, they still haven't even officially revealed the Marvel Legends lineup (and there is literally NOTHING new there). It's ridiculous, honestly.

He'll actually come with three or four Black stands, counting the one under his jump stand. I used them all for this pic.

You have no idea how happy this Minimate makes me!

The Spot was one of the earliest Spidey villain that I was introduced to as a kid (in the 90's Animated Series). I never thought I'd ever see an official Minimate of him, let alone one executed so perfectly.

    Thanks DST!

  8. I just picked up the Episode 7 Han and Chewbacca Hot Toys set. They are my first 1/6 scale figures and I am now afraid that addiction is setting in (more are on order...)! Han Solo is magnificent and the sculpt is probably the best Ford likeness ever. Amazing considering he didn't allow facial scanning. Chawbacca's face is a little funky (a wee bit too much space between his eyes and nose), but it's nothing a little hair tousling can't fix. I will post pics as soon as I have them nicely set up!

That Shocker is seriously disappointing...not as a figure, just as a look. As much as I love the MCU, the villain costumes by and large (with a few exceptions) continue to suck.

That is not his final look...

Unfortunately, it seems he is another victim of DST not getting source material in time.

Here's the promo pic of his final suit, should you want to check it out:

Honestly, it seems to me that Pascal just doesn't know how to communicate effectively during an interview, and people are taking her words way out of context. If this is true, though, my hate for Sony will reach new, never-before-seen heights.

I have to wonder if these reviewers are hung up on "whitewashing."

    and bingo was his name-o...

In all seriousness, I have found that there is a general dialogue that points to this being the case. Not to mention the hyperbole being passed around on social media that this is "THE WORST THING NETFLIX HAS EVER HAD!!!! IT'S A COMPLETE FAILURE!!!"

I mean, let's be honest it couldn't possibly be as bad as the Ridiculous Six.

  12. As someone who has never seen

    Unbreakable

I found the twist to actually detract form my overall enjoyment of the film. It was confusing and I felt like an idiot walking out of the theater befuddled. It wasn't until I got home and looked it up that I finally figured it out. I think the twist that

    Kevin lives in a zoo

is much more compelling and should have been heightened to strengthen the core story of Kevin instead of servicing other things. Perhaps if

it was established beforehand that this was connected to Unbreakable

it could have been a better film for audience members like myself.
