At the risk of derailing this thread (not that there's much to derail anyway...)
Here would be my Spider-Verse breakdown.
Box Set:
Miles (Main Costume + Hoodie), Spider-Man (w/ interchangeable Peter and Peter B. heads), Kingpin, Prowler
Walgreens Wave:
Miles (Proto Suit w/ cape)/Peter B. Parker (sweatpants and trench coat)
Doc Ock/Gwen
Spider-Man Noir (w/ Spider-Ham little figure a la old Rocket)/Scorpion
Peni Parker/Tombstone
BAF: SP//DR

These have made their way out here on the West Coast. I found a set in Pleasant Hill, CA today.

Either way, missing product from an MCU film after 22 consecutive films is really, really disappointing.
This is my biggest takeaway. After supporting the line for EVERY. SINGLE. MOVIE. I am definitely upset by this. Especially given that Spidey is my favorite.

I wish Mysterio had a different design, or there was a different character there altogether.

I suspect the description of the boxset is wrong, if you look at the design its clearly Talos, he’s the only one with a tailcoat and the torso design matches exactly, I suspect a typo or last second name change that wasn’t caught
That makes sense. He does look like him.

I find it a bit strange that we are not getting Talos, the main Skrull villain of the film.

Where did I see a Hammerhead Minimate to be released? Am I dreaming that?
The next animated wave I believe.

Zach, you just made my day.

This planogram was posted in the Funko Reddit group. Supposedly, there's a dedicated spot for them coming on the shelves.

I assumed that would be the case. I just get a little disappointed when there's a chance to create a cool new costume and it ends up mediocre. It would also have to be included if they made any minimates based on the game since it's the core of the marketing. It's even getting an ML figure.
I wonder if DST would even be interested in making minimates based on the game? The problem is they have made or can make practically all the Spider-Man costumes in the game and some of the villains. I can see why they might hesitate to spend extra money on the licensing even though the tech-heavy redesigns of the classic villains are generally appealing and would make cool minimates.
I posted this in the thread for the game itself, but:
"I am also curious to see when/if the MiniMates for this game get revealed. When I asked Chuck if these were happening (or even could possibly) at the MiniMates panel at SDCC, he gave a sly "No comment." So...take from that what you will..."
-
Is anyone going to be picking this up? I have been eagerly waiting for this to come out since that first announcement trailer and I can hardly contain my excitement! I decided to splurge and get the exclusive PS4 Pro bundle. It's not every day that such a cool exclusive comes along, especially for a lifelong Spidey fan like myself.

It has nothing to do with settings on your TV, but how the color grading was used in that shot.

The pattern is almost exactly the same.
But the colors are not correct.
The images floating around only look that way because of the color grading and lighting of those scenes.

Chuck said very directly in the panel that the TRU situation threw them for a pretty hard loop. He listed off Target, Walmart, GameStop, etc. as potential substitutes but it sounded like nothing was in place yet. In the meantime, it seems that Walgreens will be the safety net going forward.

Please "spoiler" a post like that. The character was redacted for a reason and that's a pretty major spoiler if that is true. I really hope the movie hasn't just been ruined for me...

Went to one of my stores last night. They had one of each set of the new wave except for Corvus and Hulkbuster. I got the two exclusives and left Cap and Falcon.
None of my four closest stores ever got in the Black Panther wave, which is/was...weird. Shelves are clogged with Ragnarok and older Animated waves. I'm just glad I was able to find these IW sets so easily, especially after the fiasco with the first wave.
Edit: Found at Walnut Creek, CA Walgreens

I wish Corvus had a more menacing face print. He almost looks bored on this figure while he's usually grimacing in the film.

I just got back from seeing the movie, and I gotta say I feel like these waves covered the films pretty well (assuming we do end up getting all of the Black Order members).
Sorry about that... deleted the spoiler tags so there are no more problems.

Superior Foes of Spider-Man
While we just got Beetle, I'd love for the rest of the team to be filled out in comic-accurate suits. It would also provide an opportunity to include some of the classic Spidey mob bosses that have yet to be made (Tombstone, Silvermane, Hammerhead,etc.).
-
I think parts of the suit actually look golden when reflecting light, hence the color differences.
-
Oh man, I'd love Ready Player One Minimates! Unfortunately, I think the merchandising ship has sailed unless the sequel ever actually gets made.
-
I'd be so down for a Tinkerer!
Spider-Man: Far From Home

Well I guess that explains
the inclusion of Hydro-Man and Molten Man along with Mysterio in Wave 77.
