Garbage disposal.
Alive or dead, when you drop something in the disposal, make sure it's turned off before you reach in and retrieve it.

I want to be the Global Frequency. I want to be a Warren Ellis character and swear a lot and drink whiskey and be obsessed with cell phones.
-
Yes it's true - I am a boid.
No really, I am working for Diamond creating their paint masters for Minimates. I've been working for them since last fall, and it's been a thrill. I'm only painting Minimate samples - no design work. And yes, I'll be pushing for my obscure favorite figures when I can.
Thanks to everyone for all their well-wishes about the job, and thanks to youbastards for coming up with a great way to reveal the news to everyone who wasn't at the Minimate panel. See what you miss out on when you don't attend?

Yeah, it's not Field of Dreams, is it...

Now that I'm back and work and have time to post, I wanted to say thanks to everyone I talked to, met or shared baby pictures with at C2E2. It was one of the highlights of the trip.
And a big shout-out to Zach for everything. No one works harder to set up Minimates that fall over.

Farm kid hat going on:
Holsteins are the black and white cows, famous for appearing in movies like "Top Secret" and having their look stolen by Gateway computers. They are raised around the world, and are the leading dairy producing animals today. Due to the lack of teats on the cow in the above picture, we can safely assume he is "udderly" male.
Holsteins also come in red and white spotted varieties - a possible idea for future repaint.

Just checked in as well. Had a much shorter drive than Nervous.

I'm guessing it will be an alt-future story where Prof X is assassinated, leading to a DOFP-ish future that isn't quite as wacky as AOA, and the X-men have to travel to the future with Bishop to figure out whodunnit, Scooby Gang style.
oooh, will it have a Blackbird-styled Mystery Machine?

That would be so glorious! *cue John Lennon's Imagine* In my fantasy wrestling world, it is the same but they are all mid-carders, and the beatees are joined by John Cena and Feed Me More guy. Also, Samoa Joe would go to WWE to get involved in the title chase with Bryan/Cesaro/Ziggler/Punk/Rollins/Jericho/possibly Rhodes ASAP before he gets too old to still be great in the ring.
I want to watch your fantasy world instead of the real WWE.
-
I look forward to Team Hell No breaking up and Bryan taking on Ziggler for the title.
Also in my fantasy wrestling world, Del Rio / Swagger / Orton / Sheamus can all take turns being beat up by the Big Show and Mark Henry.

Barring any last-minute catastrophes, I'll be there Saturday.

Day One of Custom Con is now up, and it's got some really stunning Minimates on display:
-
Now I want to see Modern Cap. He's always on his phone checking Facebook! He's into a bunch of bands "you've probably never heard of"! He fights crime in skinny jeans!
-
You're welcome! I'm just glad that your gifts got there in time.
-
Very awesome Gideon. Whoever made that must have tremendous skill at customizing.
And humble. He's probably really humble too.
-
Doomsy sure has some sweet vehicles.
It was a fun and entertaining show - thanks to Bob & Hellpop for putting it together.
And congrats to the winners!

I'm gonna be pissed if I see a little turd-shaped Invisible Man hanging on the pegs at some point...
Oh, don't worry. You won't see the Invisible Man...
-
Funny, you didn't look that young when I met you.
Happy Birthday Timbo!

Diamond announced their final schedule & all their diabolical plans for C2E2 over here.

Airwolf is comparable to the A-Team in terms of the level of acting, plot depth and TV-friendly violence. But while the A-Team was family-friendly and light-hearted, Airwolf tried to be adult and super-serious. But any show starring Ernest Borgnine flying an assualt helicopter can not, by its nature, be a serious adult drama.
Airwolf is not very good. But if you like bad TV shows that reek of the 80's, then Airwolf is wonderful. And I would be the first in line to buy Airwolf Minimates.
-
Hooray! A reason to wake up on Thursday!
-
Same happened to mine as well - I remember the bubble practically falling off when I bought them.
-
Happy Birthday Nessex! You don't look a day over 90!
